This is by far the best game to play with friends. After all of these years they are still creating new content and keeping the community alive. I cant wait for the next one.

This game is great and almost never gets old. I loved the original Rome Total War and this is a great addition to the series.

This is coming along very nicely. I purchased the Spearhead edition about a year and a half ago, when I first played it I was not very impressed, but now that I played it again I am very impressed with their progress. This can be a great game!

I have decent PC specs so it should look good on most computers (amd 8320 CPU, Radeon R9 270 graphics, 24 gb Ram)

Here is a link to some of the gameplay.

I have been on a bit of an arma binge recently, so I decided to give this game another shot. It seems that the devs. made some improvment as far as graphics and overall game play. The game is now playable yay! If you want to read my previous review that is at the bottom.

Ideal Price point would be below $2.

Pros:
Its a fun squad based game similar to Xcom but more realistic
Upgrades and XP keep me engaged

Cons:
Gameplay is still a bit clunky, supose I want to select a soldier to move him close to another one. The is a chance I could acidently try and heal that soldier which is a waste of a medpack which you have tobuy with coins (earned trhough playing the game)

The main guy (Ian) has a british accent but is in an american unit andhas a US flagpatch.... details man.

The voice overs are very canned

Missions are very short.

Previous Review:
So clunky and hard to move the camera/ the soldiers. I had set a low bar based on the review, but I was hoping to at least be entertained. I just got frustrated and stoped playing... its a bummer really, this is a really cool concept.

This review contains my review of COH2 and the majority of its DLC

My preferences: I really enjoy the Company of Heroes Series because its face paced and engaging. I perfer to play the single player version over online (sometimes i dont like to deal with other people) but I do ocassionally play onine.

Honest opinion of COH2 (without the DLC) is that I think it fun, but I wouldnt pay more than $20 for it. Becuse it has shifted to becoming a more DLC based game it is not worth the $40 they are charging for it because you do not get the complete game.

If you want to play as US troops you will need to buy the western armies or the Ardenes Assult DLC. Western armies only includes the online piece and no campaign and the Ardenes has a slightly different campaign style than than other ones (kinda reminds me of Risk).

Ardenes Assault I would price around $12-15 in value which comes with three playable companies. Its very fun but they have added in a DLC that will make you buy another $7 worth of stuff in order to play all four of the companies (if you are going to release a game make it all inclusive and dont charge $40 for it).

In Summary:
Fun game but it is a little pricey to get the full experince with the DLC. Stick with COH1 until it goes on sale.

This game is awesome! I would have to say that this might be one of the few games I would pay full price for (not that I would recommend it because it goes on sale often, but Personally i would not have buyers remorse if I did).

I like this game because it has an interesting well thought out story line, its challenging (but not stupid hard), and it makes me thing strategically. The graphics are pretty good, and I have had no issues with glitches.

If you buy this game, I would recommend just going ahead and purchasing the expansion, the expansion is the exact same game, plus another enemy which you have to balance while fighting the aliens. I think It expands on and makes the original game better, however I do wish I skipped strait into it rather than playing the campaign for Enemy Unknown first because its almost the same game when you start out.
