its fun and the devs are workin hard. smaller team game so updates can be slow, but tend to be pretty good. can be hard to start because its unclear what the intended progression is, but the truth is there isn't. it's sorta do what you want, and if you dont want then dont. at first glance it looks like there's no way to make buildings, but google "true flat astroneer" and it opens up a whole world of building opportunity.

very fun, hard to start, best played with like 2 buddies, but solo is still very good. put on a podcast and relax :)

Classic garbage Gaijin tutorials. Building isn't as fun as it sounds, definitely try one of their competitors. Gameplay is a little dull. Just not worth the time, or the risk with these Russian hacks. Don't pay for anything if you value your security.

Revise: Damn, gotta be honest I really turned around after the updates. Came back because I saw some other review flips while searching for free games. Tutorial is still so very infuriating, but the story does help it go down better. Above all else, it's fun man. Both the PvP and PvE is a ton of fun. Love the open world elements too. It's just real fun. Especially building now that they actually provide with you usable quantities of parts.

Very fun, very interesting. Operating your machine is very engaging, and the little puzzles are fun to think through, though not super challenging. A very nice sit back game and extremely interesting visual story. I don't think there's a word at all in actual gameplay, but the story of the world seems very clear and well represented.

been playin since early early alpha. it's my absolute jam. if you're into this kind of simulation game, and looking for dread and a good natural story to just happen, this is the game for you. good stuff. easy to learn hard to master.

Great game, reccommending it everywhere, love it. So damn buggy. Devs already addressed it tho, so I know it'll be fixed soon. I'm a bit of a HEMA dude, so the historical combat really adds a level of immersion that I've never been able to get anywhere else. The characters are super interesting and engaging, politics feel real, just good good stuff.

So I'm having a hard time starting the game off. This f*cking patronizing tutorial is making me lose my mind. This character's name is "farm fan" (why does this character not have a real name) and I have now discovered if I don't play the game her way, I don't get to restore my farm fully or get a companion. Elements of the game are cut off by deciding to have fun the waay I want to have fun. I don't understand why you would cut off natural exploration and learning for players. It's a farming game, if it's so hard it needs to spelled out for me, it's designed wrong, or marketed weird.

Sidenotes: the audio sliders don't seem to work, and the voxel cleavage is just weird and unecessary.

Just go buy MB: Warband. Much better, and if you need your rifles, you can play the Napoleonic Wars module. This is just boring and unrewarding.

its fun, it gets edgy sorta with the trolls but i think thats the point? its something. music is fantastic, art is fantastic, totally outstanding. with all due respect, id be really surprised if continues though. not because its bad, but because idk how big itll be, and how capable the studio will be to continue. we'll see! i got my fingers crossed.
