Connection fixed, good hoard shooter with friends. Only complaint is that the SPEAR lock-on is inconsistent.

At face value this game has some good points and many tolerable qualities however with a little bit of adjustment in console commands and mods the game can go from about a 5/10 to a good 8/10. However that being said, when it boils down I was sold a 5/10 game so this game kinda sucks that I have to fix it myself to make it bearable.

+ the shooting is there, and acceptable
+ the idea of a ship builder was very strong.

- tedious stuff, waiting for takeoff and docking cutscene gets old after about the 10th time.

- the randomly generated points of interest have nothing in between them and take FOREVER to walk to (why do vehicles not exist in a game about exploring???)* specifically adjusted my move speed temporarily
to be like 8X walk speed just so i didnt waste 7 minutes of my life each time i want to do something.

- The main story is a little weak as well as the side stories
- early game lockpicking is frustrating, it gets better once you dump 2-3 level up skill points in it but its still pretty bad.

A fun arcade flight game, the campaign is fully voice acted and the dialogue and story are great. The soundtrack is beautiful although a little re-used in some missions, and there is a lack of cut-scenes but the voice acting pulls though.

Your allies actually contribute to the battle every now and then they actually score a kill. Enough to where you will actually notice them bagging a kill every now and then. I don't remember any of my NPC friends doing that in ace combat lol.

There is mod support so you can get a little bit more out of the game. Overall if you enjoy flight fighter arcade games its worth the 25 dollar full price for the fully voiced campaign, plus flushed out planes, and AI can attack enemies lol.

After dropping my playthough of Ace Combat 7 almost 4 times I finally finished my campaign playthough. Ultimately I think its fantastic in some areas and in others it could use some work. For starters I would like to commend the series for its fantastic soundtrack and graphics and some parts of the story were very memorable. Several songs from the OST have the highest honor I can bestow them a spot on my Video game OST youtube playlist. As for the story the conclusion gave me warm and fuzzy feelings.

That being said the actual missions were a mixed bag, some mission themes and mechanics were pretty fun to play. Others i’m not going to sugar coat it some of them were kinda bulls**it a main issue is a lack of checkpoints and some of the objectives were very rough. As a casual gamer it did not feel good:
Some missions only had a checkpoint at the halfway mark of a mission which takes upwards of 10-15 minutes and dying means you get sent back to the very start where you gotta fly in and try again even if you failed on the very last part you get isekai’d back to the 50% mark.
Some of the objectives were also way to tight even on lower difficulties.

The actual story writing its self was passable, maybe a bit above average at best. Some plot threads seemed kinda rushed or not fully developed towards the end. Again, average, passable, nothing wrong with it just generic.
Flight mechanics and video gameplay: as others have stated its an arcade jet fighter game, lots of liberties have been taken, great for casual players not looking to have to learn how to be an actual air force pilot to play.

Overall solid addition to my steam video game collection. The soundtrack is great along with the visuals, story is about average it’s there but don’t expect the witcher 3 or anything most missions have special mechanics or objectives however sometimes these mechanics or objectives cause great pain. If you’re a causal consider playing on easy if you don’t play these flight sims that often because some of these missions are extremely frustrating.

Consider buying it on sale if your on the fence, overall I don't regret buying it since the soundtrack and visuals slaps pretty hard.

Monster Hunter Rise is my second monster hunter game, the Journey through the game with friends is un-parralled to any experience in video gaming.

Nothing quite like being in a discord call with the bois playing monster hunter when your friend gets stunned by a monster and is about to experience a guillotine tail slam, screaming "Oh god oh ♥♥♥♥" as you fish though your inventory for a flash grenade (pod) to stun the monster from finishing its attack animation.

Sometimes "I got you!" other times its "oops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "

Truly the best gameing experience this year 10/10 would sometimes manage to save friend from getting guillotine-ed by a monster

On a 100 point US grading scale where 70=D and 100=A+
id personally give it an [82/100] but for most people it probably is like a [74/100]

+ Overall the first third to two thirds of the game is pretty solid. You use your brain learn stuff and progress the story. Progression and problem solving are used and it feels rewarding.

-However the last stretch of the game lots of people felt burn out. I personally looked up a guide for like the last one third because i couldn't bear making like 14 talking choices to arrive one step closer to the ending, or messing up the choices and reaching a literal dead end*
*However I don't fault the developers/writers its just a weakness of the game medium they chose I gave it some
thought and couldnt come up with a better solution.
-removing speech choices would restrict player freedom.

overall I thought the game was pretty solid and I don't regret the playthough but probably shoulda got this on sale.

Highly recommend this title as an addition to add variety to a game library, a breath of fresh air from ubisoft titles.

I do not usually play platformers but A Hat In Time combines fluffy and cute aesthetics with a movement system that interacts well with its self, sliding in mid air produces satisfying horizontal movement along with generous double jump and wall scramble mechanics allowing Hat kid to traverse the stages smoothly.

Combat: Is simple but works well, simple swipes with Hat kid’s umbrella and mid air dives towards enemies. Combat is also provided by hats with special abilities like lasers. Synergizing these three mechanics will dispatch any foe that bothers you along your journey. The bossfights are fair and balanced and can be beat with simple problem solving, this isn’t dark souls :D

Dialogue and writing: the writing and world building of the game are fluffy and provide a bit of humor no complaints, the voice acting is also very fitting for the characters.

Collectables and progression: There are several types of collectables throughout the world that progress the character power, all the upgrades iv needed so far are out in the open with relative clear solutions to platforming puzzles. Additional progress towards more hats is readily available though basic exploration around the maps and I did not have any trouble collecting new hats.

Overall this game is fun to play, easy to learn as well as master this game is honestly more satisfying to play than most triple A games iv owned. Id take this game over a Ubisoft game with repetitive gameplay in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend this title to any game collection.

Early Access Review
A wide variety of guns to shoot, many modes and features with realistic reload mechanics and more and more weapons being added. One of the few VR games that in my opinion is a must buy. Also Developer keeps in touch with the playerbase though the devblogs and details lots of stuff behind the scenes and is very transparent.

One of the best visual novels iv played 10/10
+interactive bartending game,
+nice story and regulars.
+amazing soundtrack while you click your way though it.
++yuri :)
-Take breaks if you need to, no need to rush the solid story.
-some of the endings take a few brain cells to get, i personally just looked up a guide but that's neither here nor there.

A great overwelmingly supportive community in game. I have about 2100+ hours in the game on steam but lifetime hours its over 4000.
+ The mainline annual story missions are worth experiencing and almost all of them are great.

+ The movement system goes toe to toe with Apex or Titan Fall and in my opinion is the best of any game iv played. There have been moments in games where i wish I had Warframe movement mechanics Parkour 2.0 is the best.
+ The upgrade system is also extremely well made, most individuals understand what upgrades they need to continue and progress in the game.

/ The resource farming in the game is overall good but in some places it could still use some work. Compared to destiny 2 that has a resource vendor (the spider) Warframe could use that. You will acquire a uneven amount of resources, some things that you desperately need will be in short supply with no way but to just bite the bullet, turn off your brain and farm.

- While all Warframes can be acquired though gameplay which is really really nice, some will be easier to get than others. There are some warframes that people give up farming parts for and just buy them. They come every now and then as poorly implemented quests/ events, Nidus was pretty bad, Equanox requires 8 drops from a boss that drops 1 RANDOM piece per kill (1 in 8 chance ur gonna have to kill him a lot). Some will get lucky and not be that bad but sometimes you just pull the short straw and have to face 8 hour grind of unlucky to get something that your friend got a full set of in 40 minutes. Ash pieces are also now.. just dont do it man just buy Ash, better yet dont he isnt even the best anymore.

- artifical xp cap gates on certain skill trees, some end game stuff is behind daily xp cap amounts and can be not ideal for some people. I didnt no life the game around when these were released so i almost never hit the cap but some other addicts did and they say it kinda sucked.

- Dumb ways to die, sometimes enemies just hit diffrently and can kill you in stupid ways. The developers said they toned down enemies that can oneshot you but then though some wack ass design choices introduced a new enemy that can oneshot you. (Nerfed elite bombards and greneer napalm but introduced elite shield lancers that can crit and oneshot)

Overall id say its a pretty fun games, grab your friends and play an hour or two.
