Haven't seen a lot of reviews (in English, at least) commenting on how this is for weirdos like me who are actively fans of this franchise: it's incredible, please buy it I'm begging you. Maybe buy friends copies too

Since everything else has been said already, I want to shout out some of the more niche improvements made here over the older games, because despite the sentiment I've seen this isn't literally just ITC/SBX or TXR3/SB01:
- The PA system from ITC/SBX has been extended on. There are QoL features, more iconic parking areas, and a cute Jun Kitami reference (though I don't find it particularly important for gameplay).
- The narrative plays an even more prominent role here than in ITC/SBX. I really hope Genki continues to increase the important of this aspect of the series, it sets it apart from basically every other series and I love even the crumbs we have so far.
- The narrative itself is better than in prior games. "Narrative" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, but from what we have in the Early Access, it's deeper in TXR 2025 and you feel its importance more throughout the game. I hope the new rival they introduce early on plays a role throughout the game; she feels somewhat like a Blackbird counterpart and it helps contextualize the otherwise rather stale "become the best racer" plot point.
- The handling model is better. I'm replaying Import Tuner Challenge and TXR3 at the same time; people who disagree may have to go back and try those again.

If you liked the other TXR games, but especially if you're a dweeb for them like me, you will love this game. I hope Genki makes these until I die.
