First of all works excellent on Steam Deck right out of the box!

Very happy with the art, story and gameplay of this very unique comforting game...am yet to complete it but so far its a solid 10/10 in books.

Will update once i complete the full story

I completed this game years ago back in 2017. Can't believe that was 8 years ago now. Time has flown.

Was good times back then. No worries, just game and chill. Played this throught the summer on a PC I built.

Play this on behalf of me, if you're just staring shoot me a note. Id love to hear from others playing it in this day and age.

Steam Deck Users!

Game runs well out of the box at an average 45fps. however! I highly recommend changing upscale setting to Intel EXSS! Both FSR and TAA make the game look blurry. EXSS is the best looking and performance wise. Also turn of Motion Blur!

About the game, it's amazing that I can finally play an AC game in Arabic language and in Baghdad! Such a great story and great game. My only criticism so far is the characters very flat and emotionlessness faces, like they're like dead robots that lack any form of facial expression! This almost killed it for me. Overall I'll keep playing on the go!

UPDATE: I finished the game, and it was an absolute masterpiece, of both story and ending. Its one of those AC thought provoking endings which is what I was hoping for. Gonna aim to platinum it now! Ill update once Im done.

I played this when it first came out on PC back in 2005. A time where every horror movie had a little spooky girl running around with her neck twisted as the main horror character.

Steam Deck users! Here's a fix to all the stuttering, and lag issues:

Be sure to download the relavent Mods to fix the stuttering issues, and disable adaptive resolution mods to fix the game. Also change the resolution to 1600 to fix some of the lag.

Install the following two Mods,

1.https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/22

2.https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/586

Switch the resolution 1600. Turn off HDR, turn shadows to Low. Texture High.

After that, Final Fantasy 7 Remake runs amazing on Steam deck.

The game then runs flawlessly at 40fps! Drops minimum to 30 in some places.

Let me know if you need more info to better enhance the experience on the steam deck!
