I originally bought WWZ on Epic and since then the game has come a long way. Lots of new maps, characters and weapons have been added. The devs clearly care about this title and are working to improve it. That being said I would still only give it a 7-8/10. Certain components of the game feel half baked at times and could be so much better.

1) Horde mode, easily one of the best parts of the game but since its release it still only has one small map. This is something that should've been built upon long ago.

2) First Person mode, fun but feels lackluster. Aim down sight and true first person melee/vaulting/interacting would have gone a long way. Lots of actions bring you out of first person mode which is jarring and with all the interesting optics in the game it would have been nice to ADS. Back 4 blood has a far worse gameplay loop but they nailed it with gunplay and completely overshadowed WWZ:As addition of 'first person'.

3) Rats, do I even need to say anything about this? they're a terrible enemy type and should be removed completely.

4) Unique weapons, I like that the game offers skinned/unique weapons but they give them to you right at the start and it removes the need to level a good chunk of weapons. I feel like this sucks a lot of the progression out of the game. Like the 'normal' tier 5 variants you should have to progress to unlock them.

5) Melee combat, could be better the instant lock on teleport fighting is a bit clunky. Left 4 Dead/Back 4 Blood did this better.

I knew this game was somewhat of a roguelite I just didn't realize how much of a roguelite it was, I was hoping for diablo meets valheim which this game is very much not. I feel like the promotional material was a bit misleading, the trailers and gameplay I saw and the game I ended up playing were totally different. Maybe thats my fault but either way, I didn't have a lot of fun with the few hours I put in.

One of the best sony ports to hit the market. The game is extremely well optimized, I haven't dipped below 100fps my entire playthrough and I have everything maxed out. My only complaint is the default camera settings, they are jarring and slow but a quick trip to the gameplay settings fixes that.

If you like shooting zombies and open world games you'll like this days gone.

No ultrawide support, 60 fps cap, clunky melee mechanics. I know there is some fun to be had with this game but my first impression was a solid 5-6/10. It was an instant refund for me and I imagine it will be the same for many others, especially ultrawide users. Not the worst game I've played but far from great either.

ROCK & STONE

Cyberpunk leaves a lot to be desired and was definitely overhyped but was still overall an enjoyable experience.

Some quick bullet points about how I feel

-Gunplay is punchy and satisfying, melee combat is passable but nothing amazing.
-The story is solid but feels inconsequential and on rails.
-The world is massive and well crafted but feels hollow.
-The AI is brain dead, on par with far older games.

After 40+ hours I'd safely give this game an 7.5-8/10. Worth a buy but don't expect a masterpiece like Red Dead Redemption II.

I played the beta and while it certainly has its moments, there are a few things that make it hard for me to give this a positive review:
- Very few maps
- Frustrating team games
- No ultrawide support
- Predatory FOMO cash shop similar to fortnite/battlefield/destiny
- Day 1 DLC
- No community workshop/map editor
This is very clearly an early access game that is not labelled early access. It should have released with 100+ maps. The current rotation gets stale fast.
