The game has potential, but its lacking a lot of QOL features I expected it to have from Payday 2.

My biggest gripes so far are the leveling system, which is hands down the worst leveling system I have ever seen in a game, and the Lobby system. Big big steps back from Payday 2.

Some other minor complaints:
Weapon Balance isn't great
Weapon Audio, and hit markers doesnt sound great
Party system breaks often forcing you to restart the game
Loadout/Customization UI is quite clunky

I think in a few years this game will be really great once more heists are added and everything gets ironed out, right now however its sort of like an early access build.

Low effort garbage, complete bait and switch. Graphics, gameplay, zombies, gunplay, everything is completely night and day from what was shown off. This is one step removed from being a full blown scam. Do not buy this, its barely worth 5$ let alone $50.

Worst kickstarter purchase ever.

No Ultrawide support.

Overall a fun game, especially if you intend to play solo, but I can't condone how the devs implemented multiplayer. For a game that brags about "Gather[ing] your heroes...to explore a pixelated world like never before" they sure don't make it convenient. Multiplayer is just so half baked. Having your character be exclusively tied to the host is such a dampener on replay-ability and drop in/drop out play with friends and randoms. Could have been a 8-9/10 game instead its a solid 6-7 for me. In its current state I can only recommend this game if you intend to play it solo.

Like Remnant I, Remnant II is an absolute banger of a game. 9/10 soulslike game.

Its just not good, cant quite put my finger on it but nothing feels right. Movement and combat are weird and floaty, graphics kind of suck for 2023, performance is okay at best. Initial impressions are a 5-6/10 for me, certainly not worth the $90 CAD asking price.

The port definitely has some issues, biggest one for me so far is the mouse stuttering. Makes playing at 100fps feel like 20fps. Graphics look great and Im sure this could be good but it definitely needs some patching.

Edit: I was able to fix my mouse stuttering issues by disabling fullscreen opimtization, still not a very acceptable port but it is playable for me, I experienced 2 crashes in my first play through. Not ideal but not as bad as some others are experiencing.

Serving the Emperor is reward enough

Bought this game with the expectation that EGS progression transfer was coming "Shortly after launch" in the words of the devs from their Discord, here we are several months later with no word on transfers. Still no cross platform parties and a dwindling playerbase.

Super fun game but TB has dropped the ball pretty good, wouldn't recommend picking it up for any more than 10$~
