Well, it's a game about sitting on a toilet and getting abducted by aliens. Cheeky humor abound. I give it a positive because the voice acting is actually quite impressive for a game i completed in twelve minutes and payed no money for.
Nice little time killer.

Grab it on sale. Soundtrack is absolutely brilliant.

Not particularly amazing, but a decent way to kill less than an hour if you don't mind spelling errors too much.

Life is Strange is quite the extraordinarily well crafted visual novel.
As young adults, we've all pondered what we would do if we had the power to rewind time.
Perhaps to say something differently, or to stop something bad from happening, or to save ourselves from embarrassment.

This story follows protagonist Max and her sudden, unexpected acquisition of such a power, and the adventures that follow.

I highly reccomend purchasing this. I got it for free as a gift, but I would have gladly paid more than the listed price.

Alright... I don't really even know where to start with this game.
I have never been good at summarizing stuff into coherency. What I can say is this:

This is my all time favorite game. I have played a lot of games. This game is so good, it beats out games from my childhood, even with all that tasty nostalgia they carry.

I have made real life friends playing this game. I have laughed and literally cried with joy.

I don't know... This is something special here. I promise. Give it a chance, and give it time.

This game does what a lot of FPS games couldn't figure out: teamwork and creativity.
On teamwork: if you jump into a game and try to do everything yourself, you will die again and again and your team will lose. There is always a counter for whatever you play, and so your team must work together, and I mean REALLY work together to achieve the task at hand. This game is absolutely centered around teamwork, and if you ignore that, it will punish you for it.
On creativity: Yes, of course there is a meta and all that, but what makes this game special is that it allows you to take risks and get rewarded for it. No one expects an ubered engineer with the widowmaker, and that's exactly why it's effective.

All in all, this game encourages players to think outside the box, and to help one another. That in and of itself is enough reason to play it, but if you need more, here you go.

-The artwork in this game is spectacularly refreshing. It's as unique as Borderlands and never gets old to look at.
-Each class is also a character, with a definite personality and undeniably uniqueness from the other classes. Learning who each class is and what their specific character traits are is part of this game.
-Every class has a mulitiude of available playstyles, even more so if you are creative. Finding out which class you are best at and mastering it is a wonderful feeling. (Don't forget to be adaquate at the other classes, in case your team needs something other than your main class.)
-This game doesn't take itself too seriously, and that is something we don't see enough of from first person shooters.
-Despite what you get at face value, there IS a plot. You just have to find and read the comics. (I reccomend doing that, by the way. They're a great read.)
-It's quite easy to find people you work well with in this game. I've not been playing all that long, compared to many, but I already have a group of 7+ people that I work and communicate very well with.
-Also it's free. You don't really have anything to lose, here. Except time, maybe.


Ultimately, the point I'm trying to get across here is that this is a good game. It's a really good game. It will make you frustrated beyond belief and also make you laugh. It will make you ragequit at w+m1 pyros, and it will make you lean back and cheer at the incredible strategy you just pulled off. Every match has the chance to put you on the edge of your seat.
Don't second guess this, give it a shot.

The only game in which you can obliterate mentally ill people screaming about bicycles made of meat, feed a diamond-fleshed horse a rare and slightly irradiated stone from deep within the earth to obtain the guns it excretes, and shoot a man named "Face McShooty" directly in the face.




10/10 would grind Rock, Paper, Genocide for XP again.
