Aligns with the rest of the stuff from the base game, friends had a lot of fun and would willingly pick stuff from the Chaos Tree in the beta. Lots of fun, pick it up.

Early Access Review
Looks like streamer bait, is actually surprisingly solid. Canada Simulator brings Lethal Company with the Physgun from Gmod in a weird bastard child. Bring friends.

If you played the first game, it's that but better, and only one person needs to own the DLC for everyone to use all the Shadows in online play! Allows veterans of LB1 to use LB1 settings if they want to, add a lot more QoL and improvements, looking forward to how this game develops for the future.

Fun! No BS setup, just jump in a play. Games are fast and has that "one-more-round" type of feel. My recommendation going forward to the Dev is adding more weapons and more synergies. Having things that have unique interactions with each other is what causes a lot of fun surprising moments! Don't sleep on this one or wait for a sale, just buy it!

I don't play "roguelike deckbuilders" and I'm not into card games. This game is cocaine incarnate. Don't wait and just buy it.

When the act of simply jumping and moving around the levels are fun in their own right, you know the dev did something great. Level themes and OST are just okay in my book. The combat...is there. Had a lot of fun with this one, don't wait for a sale for this one, you'll have a good time.

First MH game I ever got out of Low Rank from without finding the game a slog in the early-game, then just putting it down to find some other game to play. Really wish I stuck through the older games in retrospect. There will be a playstyle that fits you, power through it, take the extra time to find "your" weapon, then you'll be in the zone. In two weekends I've racked up almost 100 hours, just find a group and go nuts.

Minoto is the best.

Needs some tweaks, more content, more options, and some QOL updates BUT I still recommend buying it at this time, the devs figured out how to make mini golf work in VR and it shows.

For those looking to play this game or a beginner of the series, PLAY IT LAST. You learn to appreciate how far the series has gone from the typical sprite-based designs to full 3D, even if it is a prequel with very few if not any ties to the mainline series, I strongly recommend playing the games in release order.

I've played through every game in this series, including the Layton spinoff and the two investigations games and I've gotta say, this is probably the best Capcom has to offer as far as far as Ace Attorney goes, if we're talking about the overall package. The music is good, the animations are fantastic and I'm really glad they didn't butcher the localization. Ultimately, without spoilers the package deal is great, you'll love the characters (arguably some more than mainline AA games), and it's mostly a joy from start to finish.

If I had to complain, I'd say 1-4 and 2-2 were my personal low points, some of the other trials last way too long, and you could see the big bad coming from a mile away. It also doesn't have some of the high highs the mainline games have in terms of story (JFA 2-4, T&T 3-5, etc), but doesn't have the really bad lows (JFA 2-3, AJ 2-3, etc) which bumps my grade up just that little bit. All in all, an amazing experience that will make you want more.

TL;DR: An amazing Ace Attorney game(s) from start to finish, play the older games first, you'll appreciate these two titles a lot more in the long run.

Don't buy it on sale, buy it full price, it's that good.
