Great and in a sense, a free game. A true love of their creator, Digital Extremes. Nearing 10 years old but still booming and constantly being updated with new content. It is not a game for everyone, it WILL require heavy grinding later on in the game. Often times the grinds are bearable and even entertaining, sometimes not. Almost everything in the game can be acquired for free through playing. And vice versa, almost everything in the game can be bought skipping the grind with a paid in game currency, platinum.

What I find best in the game is that you can define what are your endgame activities. There are bunch to choose from but one I find very interesting is what players call "fashion frame". Customizing your own playable characters, warframes. That's mostly done with the paid currency platinum. Platinum can also be earned by selling stuff in the game, so even that aspect can be free, if you want to put in the work.

All in all, easy 700 hours spent in the game and I am still quite far off from reaching the maximum rank. Even though I've put in enough money to buy couple AAA games, that's pennies for the amount of content. The devs listen to players' wishes so I'm happy even with the amount of money spent.
