Athenian Rhapsody is proof that RPGs don't need to rely on secret trauma or heavy stories to get a point across. It's a poignant reminder that friends, courage, and acceptance of the unusual can all make life a little lighter.

Anyways the gameplay is engaging, the dialogue is hilarious and the music goes absolutely crazy, so please buy this game RIGHT NOW

Deep Rock Galactic Inc. gave me a contract to sign away my soul. I don't know if I regret what I've done

I got to beta-test this game and it was one of the goofiest, zaniest, and downright most comically unhinged RPGs I have ever played, and the craziest part is that it's technically only a demo.Combat is colorful, interesting, and skillfully constructed, and the game's arguably linear outline provides the player with a good amount of freedom while not allowing them to get too lost. But TGPD really shines because of its characters, which crank up the comedy to 11 and really give you a memorable experience.I'll close with a pertinent quote from the Big Goob himself; "They all think it's funny, Cornball! Until it's not!"

Early Access Review
I saw a five-dollar game on Steam that looked kinda fun.
What I'd actually found was a game with consistent updates, an impossibly dedicated developer, and a really unique playstyle. Plus it actually convinced me to spend 40 hours getting every single achievement just because I could.
Summary: More addictive than crack (and cheaper, too).

I've done it.
I've finally earned every achievement, gained an S on every song, collected every single trading card...
Honestly, this game earns a solid Baboon/10

Excellent in pretty much every way. I never knew that customizing old sedans into supercar-level beasts would be so much fun.

Overall a very good utility app. It's quite fun to make your own backgrounds, I advise you try it at some point.

This game is excellent. There's really no better way to say it.
Being a self-proclaimed arachnophobe, this game provides a certain satisfaction in being able to burn, slice, crush, and shoot my favorite eight-legged horror shows. One of the best things about this game is that the spiders aren't hostile- there's no way to die. The combination of a plethora of equipment, upgrades, and stages means that this game lasts for as long as you want it to.
This is a truly unique little masterpiece, and I'm very happy I found it.

By the way, I haven't played very far past the main storyline at time of review.
I saw one review for this game that said that it's too shallow: it requires mods to enjoy. Personally, I think that's not true. It could easily be said that it doesn't have anywhere near as much content as its contemporaries Minecraft and Terraria, but were those games as full of content as they are now at only a few years old? I doubt it. Starbound is a game that's still relatively young, but I enjoy it anyway.
I would highly recommend this game both for the innovative building system and hotbar, which both add a challenge and a certain satisfaction to item usage, by being able to use both left and right hands. Huge amounts of character customization also soup up the personalized experience, and the procedurally generated worlds mean you won't run out of exploring fodder too fast.
The price of $15.00 is a little bit hefty compared to Terraria's $10.00, so I advise you get it on sale. But really, this game is a joy to play, and I'd recommend it to probably almost anyone.

I know that quite a few other people have said this, but this game has an amazing story. You wouldn't expect to learn to care about a couple of sarcastic-sounding quadrilaterals, but that's exactly what this game does to you. It's worth playing through all 100 levels for sure.
Also, I haven't seen any other reviews that say that you actually get the DLC Benjamin's Flight for free. It adds some more stages and a character with a jetpack to use in them. It has its own story, and frankly, I'm quite glad that they decided to include it automatically on Steam.
Anyway, why are you still reading this? Go get the game!
