whelp i've dropped too many hours into this to not give some kind of review. it's a dope game on the whole, and well worth picking up if you're the type to partake in content like The Rest Is History, Epic HIstory TV, and have a youtube algorithm of an 80 year old retiree, this is the game for you.

it's not without faults. basically any crusades feel very bleh, but with more DLC comes more character. Some DLC is defo not a requirement. I could go on, but it's more about rough edges you start noticing after a hundred hours or so.

The roadmap has stayed true, and the quality of DLC is getting better each season. So if you end up liking vanilla, there are quite a few options on what you're looking to tickle your pickle.
