I played most of the weekend play tests over the last few months. The game gives me all of the good feelings that Battlefield 3 and 4 did, but BF 1 -> BF 2042 do not. It is a statement on what a team of passionate developers can do when they put love, care and effort into their game instead of maximising profits. Add in a willingness to listen to their players and you have a winning formula.

The game graphically looks like Roblox or Minecraft, but don't let that put you off. 10 minutes in the game was enough to convince me that it doesn't matter, because it plays BETTER than most AAA FPS games I've tried, and runs flawlessly on my ancient PC that now struggles with most games.
