Steam

Great! This is a work of the same generation as Fritz 18, but it seems that the developer have learned from the mistakes of their predecessors. The whole experience is closer to the original, and many directories can be customized. Finally, the manual can be displayed properly. I'm not sure about other chess players, but for me, who play correspondence chess in ICCF, CB17 is really convenient. This generation is also more easy to understand in terms of analysis.

Cons:
There are no databases, book or repertoires included. It would be more convenient if they could be sold directly on Steam as DLCs. Fortunately, the game records bought from the official website can be copied to the Steam version.
French accent can't be displayed correctly, even I've installed chessbase font.

Pros:
Clearer game analysis. I hope they can add a function like Chessify that explains the intention of each move.

More convenient and faster search functions, and the Beauty function is also interesting.

The Steam version is cheaper.
