I do recommend this game completely, but not to all.

This is a FromSoftware game, so the difficulty is intense. It requires patience and quick reactions as the game is designed so you learn lessons and develop strategies while failing and retrying.

It's extremely fast-paced combat and even more in depth in terms of useful, noticeable statistics that your build carries. There are at least two-dozen stats to keep your eye on and sometimes memorize before battle.

You earn currency by completing missions, then you can buy parts to change/improve your build/play-style in between missions.

Just so long as you have a build that makes sense (within the play-style intended for your main parts, meeting or slightly below your maximum limits that your parts also define) most parts are viable, but range in difficulty, and there are certain enemies and bosses that require a certain build in order to defeat them.

Because of this, I highly recommend learning the different builds and play-styles, those will just be tools in your belt that you bring with you.

If you intend on buying this game, take a deep breath first. Make sure you're ready to be upset/disappointed and ready to use coping mechanisms to keep you focused so you learn from your mistakes to make your failures worth something. Remember to take breaks when you're wound up, usually stepping away and coming back later improves my performance drastically.

Another Top-Down, dungeon-like room-to-room shooter that I'm having a ton of fun playing and replaying. The items, in the right combination, can break the game by making it super easy and fun or almost impossible to progress. That is what I've come to love about these kinds of games. The characters and their abilities bring a ton of various play styles to the table and it seems like there's a lot of room for expansion for characters, items, levels, enemies, all of it! The story is good, I like all of the characters. I have high hopes for this Rogue-Like!

Thoughts:

-It's pretty Cyberpunk-y
- I'm running around with cyber-enhanced fists beating the justice into Night City. With the sneak skills, street brawler skills and double jump it feels like a batman simulator.
- There's a bug where if you walk along the curb of the streets at just the right angle it launches you down the street at about the same speed as a speeding car.
- There are bugs, I'd compare the amount and frequency of the bugs to the ones I'd experienced while playing Skyrim. Specifically, the pathing, collisions, and objects spawning on screen and falling to the ground.
- The police will aggro if you stand in front of them for too long (adds to the immersion?)
- If you run and gun it can feel like playing Borderlands
- Cover is important for pretty much any build.
- "Hacking" is very rewarding in combat and can, along with sneak skills, be a viable combat build.
- I see a lot of Witcher 3 quest and loot mechanics in this game.
- I could see myself picking this up again in 5-7 years because of the amount of time I've enjoyed playing it.

If you spend a lot of time configuring the controller on a per-game basis, this controller will end up being much more efficiant and comfortable than any other controller, sometimes superior to keyboard/mouse. Personally, I wouldn't ever use this controller for a fighting game. Other than that, well worth the purchase for those who like to stare at configuration screens for literally hours, then many more tweaking while in-game to reach the most comfortable and efficiant scheme (I'm one of those people).

The two touch-pads are really cool, the haptic feedback can be modified to be powerful or just barely noticeable (feels like you're running your finger a very satisfying texture) and one of the reasons this controller is able to be far better in MOST cases to xbox or ps3/4 controllers (even the xbone elite controller). You can modify the sensitivity in case you're being way too jittery with your finger movements which helps when I'm fighting a boss or some other intense gaming moment.

The controller is big, but it fits very well in my hands. The rear triggers are much easier to use than the XBone Elite's new paddle triggers due to how big the Steam's rear triggers are. The fact that they use the battery cover as part of the trigger mechanism is pretty dang neat. For more info, just ask!
