FTL is an interesting beast, although that kinda comes with being a rouge-like. The diffrent events play out pen-and-paper RPG style, with a number of default options that may or may not work with a few crew or upgrade specific options that almost always garner positive results. Even if you're not into rouge-likes, I'd still give this a shot. It's challenging and, at times, frustrating but it's the most fun I've had with the genre. Also the soundtrack is amazing. I can't get enough of it.
