If you have a gambling addiction this game is a great cure. After failing so many 80% success rate skill checks you'd probably want to quit gambling forever.

Anyway, enough jokes. What a beautiful game. Heard a lot about it, but never really saw footage. It was a different experience than what I expected, but oh man I had a lot of fun with this. The world isn't that big, but there's so much to discover and choose. I will definitely do a second playthrough to see what happens with other choices. To get back to my first line: the only thing I really dislike is the dice rolling skill checks. By pure bad luck you are sometimes forced out of character, or you need to resort to save scumming all the time. And even then when you fail a 70% skill check three times in a row my eyes just start to roll. I would have preferred a different system for this, but oh well it is what it is.

It's awesome, but proceed with some caution. The game tries to be extremely realistic, but... realism isn't always fun, hence why we play games. For example, at the start your character will be terrible with a sword so you need to practice. But to get it to an acceptable level you need to do this for like an hour or two after the prologue, while you'd probably much rather just continue with the story.

However, once you get past that initial beginner hurdle you are in for a nice treat. A decently sized world with a overarching story and plenty other things to discover. Fully voice acted with some nice moments, especially when Hans Capon is involved. Quests can often be completed in many different ways, so you can play the way you prefer. It might not be the most polished RPG around, but it certainly has its charm. Looking forward to the sequel they announced a while ago.

At first I wasn't too fond of the minimalist interface and the pretty high difficulty, but once you get used to the flow it's actually really fun to play. Nice, decently sized mysterious world with plenty of secrets to be discovered. Also offers plenty replayability to keep you busy for a while.

Out of all main Borderlands games I played, I definitely had the most fun with this one. The guns are really fun to use and the gameplay is amazing. The story, ahem as far as you can call it that, not so much. Completed it last month and to be honest I already forgot what the main plot is about. Also some characters have obnoxious voice acting (especially Ava and Vaughn). If you can ignore that, and perhaps interest a friend to join in, you will easily get a couple dozen hours out of this title. I recommend to buy the complete collection when on sale to get the most bang for your buck.

Claimed this game for free quite some months ago, but I really should have played it sooner. Really enjoyable game with an unique art style. The game has a lot of fun and challenging puzzles, though without making things too difficult. It also has a grunting boss, so what else do you need? The game can be beaten in just a couple hours, so keep that in mind when you consider the price.

Started this game with mixed expectations, but it is actually a pretty neat puzzle game. Had a lot of fun playing through it. The only complaint I really have is that the difficulty curve felt off sometimes, with midgame challenges being tougher to beat than some of the latter ones, but in the end that didn't derail the fun. During sales you can buy it for a bargain, making it pretty much a no-brainer to get it.

Played this game a ton when it was still in early access, and had a lot of fun back then, but as of these days I can't really recommend it anymore. The game always had mediocre physics at best, but the more recent courses just exposed the problem more and more. They have a lot of advanced mechanics, which may seem cool, but combined with the poor performance it just makes for a frustrating experience. Instead of fixing the problems, the game just gets subpar DLC, which are in my opinion heavily overpriced for what they offer. If you really want to golf with your friends, I recommend taking a look at games like Golf It instead.

Marvellous game! Doesn't get as much recognition these days as it should have. I had in my wish list for years and I'm glad I finally got around to play it. Even during the first chapter I already had some "no way!" moments, so you are in for a great story. The game allows you to play however you want. Most objectives have multiple ways to tackle them and there are plenty mutually exclusive events. It also uses some cool graphical effects, which certainly poke my interest as hobby game developer. I highly recommend to play it!

Wonderful collection of games. I never played the original ones, but after looking up some footage it seems like they really stayed true to its roots. Due to the age of the source material the gameplay and design of most levels is rather basic, but thanks to the modern art style that didn't bother me that much. The games feel really similar, so I recommend to take a break after each title to avoid it becoming stale.

Can't really say I played this game as it's automatically played by all my addons, but it's pretty fun to watch the number go up I guess. Played the classic version back in 2013, impressive to see how far it has come. Best incremental game ever made. Yes, you can play it for free in the browser, but it's nice to give some support.
