Good Half-Life 2 mod.

The only annoying parts were The chapter 2 stealth section with the turrets and the Stalker escort mission without your flash light and maybe some puzzles...

It's free so try it!

That's the kind of game you'll easily find on any flash game site...

There is no pause button (pressing escape only brings back on the main menu)

There are 3 difficulty options (only changing the speed of the snake)

I've taken the game because it was cheap but that's just a game you play while seeing a video or browsing social medias on your phone

MARK IV STYLE MOTHERF*CKER!

This game that started as a joke became one of my personal favourite (and I'm not even a Far Cry fan to begin with!)
The game is short and there isn't a lot of weapons but it's still an explosion fest with a heavy 80's B-movie vibe out of this one.

The downsides may be the fact it is still a reskinned Far Cry 3 game with an engine made for a stealth gameplay which doesn't really fit the arsenal of Rex Power Colt (the main guy by the way) and it was more made for the gamepad than a keyboard + mouse combo (I kinda hate to have to let a button pressed to make an action and to have to alway use the weapon wheel each times I want to switch them...)

Anyway I'll gladly recommend for fans of 80's style games

Buy Mania instead.

Okay I won't even rant about the fact this should never be called Sonic 4 to begin with (it should've been called "Sonic Mobile" like the beta name and should have sticked as an IOS/Android game and ported Sonic 1&2's remake on Steam instead).

The physics, graphisms and even the musics are bad. The level design is very linear, there's only 4 levels (which are all available on the go for no reasons, I prefer a post-game level select like in Sonic 3&Knuckles) and they are just reskin of old levels from previous Sonic games...

Anyway everybody should play Episode 2 instead, or even better, go buy Mania: the true sequel to the classic titles (it even has Tails and Knuckles playable unlike this game!)

Finally, this really tells how Dimps has become bad and Sega has made this game for nostalgia sadly... I'm really hoping there would be an official Sonic 4 remake made with the Mania engine but that's hopeless...

I love the exaggerated 80's b-movie vibes of this game! almost every elements of the map is destructible like a certain well-known 3D builder game but with more explosions!

The game is still hard (one hit and you're dead) but you have an army of bro you got by saving the POW (you unlock them by saving a certain amount of bros)

The only downside is that the game is kinda short (there's 20-ish missions, each with 3-5 maps) and the field look are very few (mostly the jungle and sometimes a city)

If you want to chill with a simple game this is the right choice.

The controls are good and precise, you can set your own checkpoint to be less frustrated of doing the entire level because of a small mistake and you can even decide to have a more challenging way to play with the limited live and speedrun modes.

PS: the musics are also good to hear when concentrating on a specific jump.

Update from 2024 since the 1.5 just came out:


Just get this game if you love arcade-like racing game with platforming element (without going too much into that direction).

The campaings are quite short and have an obscure narration but you will love the ton of fan made content that gives the butter to this game.

If you are really hesitant you can always try the spiritual predecessor Nitronic Rush for free.



First of all: I am not a fan of racing game at all (except for the F-zero serie) but this game is really interresting, it mix platforming elements which makes it a unique experience.

Be carefull anyway, the game's current "adventure mode" is really short and most content is made by the users (with the track creator).

I would recommend it on a sale or if you want to support the project.

Normally I am against skin-based DLCs but considering that the game is free...

Actually this mod isn't bad as there are a lot of worse mod out there but the fact that this mod is boring, short and on steam for no reasons makes this bad. Well you can play it once if you're bored like me but I would suggest to search the half-life mods by yourself, it's better to do it like that.

Anyway there's a better mod on Steam such as CAGED or even Headcrab Frenzy.

PS: this is more like a neutral notation than a thumb down as the mod is free (unlike some other HL2 mod I won't tell the name).
