To put it simply, Witchaven is fun.

Very fun and challenging FPS from the days of old. Certainly has it's fair share of jank, but overall feels very rewarding to play and conquer. I would recommend saving fairly often, the game loves to throw plenty of insta-kill traps at the player, or introduce very difficult enemies in your face as a door lowers. The game gives plenty of tools to deal with all these obstacles, such as potions, magic, and arrow stairs.

8/10 would fall in a spike pit again.
