At this point in time I HIGHLY do not recommend this game. Never has it been clear that the devs don't play their own game or even have a QA team. The UI is awful (and is now very different from the screen shots) and the only way to win most pvp games is copying and pasting the same troops everyone else is using, There is no team variety given the 100+ cards available. If you still want to play this game don't spend any money on it.

Hello Cache Trasher,

Unfortunately, we will not be rolling back to the old version UI. We have released a small update which should fix the issues with eye strain and headaches, as well as improve readability. Please make sure you are running the latest version of the game to see these changes.

We are endeavouring to do our best to improve the UI as much as possible moving forward. We felt that we were overdue a UI overhaul as it was starting to feel cluttered and dated. We would like to have Gems of War around for a while, so we wanted to modernise the feel of the game, especially as we have started to localise into more countries and expand our playerbase further.

However, we are aware of the player feedback we have received and will do our best to make the new UI as easy to read and understand as possible.

On the note of QA, we didn't have as much testing time as we normally like before this release. As such, we are in the proces of hiring an in house QA team to help us get through the QA more quickly and efficiently.
