Runescape is that one special game you picked up as a kid and kept playing on and off 10 years later. Rs holds a special place in my heart, it accompanied me for almost half my life now. From child to teenager to an adult. I have so many memories about this game, from getting killed by the mages near Varrock to being lured into the widly, getting my armor "trimmed" or simply, being straight up scammed. Looking back now, I am thankful for that. Those experiences helped me grow as a player and as a human, ultimately teaching me proper mmo etiquette and preparing me for the internet altogether.

However not all memories are bleak. That beautiful feeling you had after leaving tutorial island, the confusion of not being able to equip the goblin mail. The fun you had by just skilling and exploring the world - to eventually becoming better at the game. That feeling of joy and pride after defeating Elvarg, getting full rune and proceeding to walk around like you own the place. That feel of adrenaline pumping after having it made through the wildy without dying to eventually to winning your first pvp match. Everything that lead to the moment of you eventually becoming a member and being once again astonished by the game and it's content.

Given there is so much, much, much more I did not cover and even if i tried; I couldn't do it justice at all but my point really is that I love Runescape and I am glad it found me back then.
