I played the original Paragon back in 2016 & 2017. I will say that although it's similar and has the same platform and characters it is definitely different.

Starting out there are players not knowing basic MOBA tactics which can drag games on longer than necessary, and while this is normal when playing a new strategy game, there doesn't seem to be ELO or SBMM. Some wins feel like pure luck. Almost every game there is at least one player who is fed.

There is no option to add people you play with or against and there's no option to play with friends. I think this is its greatest downfall as of right now.
