Decided to wait to review until I had fully 100% gotten every achievement...I think that was a good choice. This game is many things, but in all that it tries to be? It delivers. You think you know something, then the game flips that on it's head. Story is not exactly "new" but it is unique when you summarize it all with the gameplay in mind as well. I usually compare games to others when I review. In that regard, if you like Undertale, Persona, anime in general, darker stories in games/media (think corpse party, anohana, etc) and a ton of other topics covered within a story? OMORI is the game. It's going in my top 5 favorite games I have played and I don't say that lightly. Art style is magnificent and coupled with the soundtrack? I feel that is what truly put this game in a league all it's own. You can tell how much love and energy went into that long delay in it's production. Only downside was that I waited so long to actually play OMORI. I can't think of anything else I had issues with <3
