Hearts of Iron IV (hoi4) is an outstanding game but its so bland and boring without the dlc's and its the same thing with other paradox games paradox just wants money lmao. The navy isnt very fun without the Man The Guns dlc, they should get rid of the focus tree dlc's and just add it into the vanilla version of the game, and don't even get me started on Italy's focus tree. Italy is listed as a major country in the game but it still has the same focus tree from when hoi4 came out in 2016. Alot of countrys in the game have gotten dlcs for better focus trees even the Baltic nations got one and Italy has just been ignored for the past 6 years. plz paradox we've been waiting so long I'll even pay $20 for another dlc just for a good Italian focus tree im begging you. but the game isnt all bad. The modding community is one of the best ive seen in any game, this game can be extremely fun with friends, and its immersive but you can choose to make it an absolute mess. For an example I allied fascist USA as germany, I declared war on the UK as france, and I once took over Europe as Luxembourg :). If your looking for a World War 2 strategy game that takes months to actually learn how to play buy hoi4 oh and thanks for reading this <3 love you
