Genuinely one of the best RPGs I've ever played.
I have very limited experience with JRPGs for the most part, as I dislike the grinding and cliches often associated with many JRPG titles, and I have even less experience with the Persona series, given that I've never had access to any of the games in the series. So, I was pretty ecstatic when I found out this game was coming to PC.
I haven't quite finished the game, and I'm only about halfway through, but I have some thoughts that might be able to persuade someone else into buying this fantastic game (for only $20, what a steal!)
While I do have some gripes with this port, as there do seem to be some areas of the game that are a bit rough around the edges, my gripes are dwarfed by my praises for this game, and thus, seem rather nitpicky in retrospect.
While I'm personally not a huge fan of the combat in this game, it's enjoyable enough and engaging to an extent, and doesn't detract from the game or story in any way. But P4G's crowning achievement is its writing. Not only is the main story incredibly immersive and gripping, but a lot of the side content is written immaculately, and I consistently find myself engrossed in the Hero's life when I play this game. Whether I'm completing mundane tasks like shopping for books or eating a big ass bowl of meat, or I'm supporting my friend recover from the loss of a loved one, every action I take within this game feels as though it carries some weight, and allows for the player to experience some next level escapism. The relationships are incredibly complex and touching, the dialogue is hilarious at times and serious when it needs to be, and the characters feel like actual people with a fully fleshed out life. Honestly, when it comes to the writing, the only real issue I have is that some of the "animeisms" do NOT translate well into Western culture, though the same can be said about anime in general.
At only $20, this game is well worth your time and money. I'm currently sitting at around 46 hours of in-game time at the time of writing this review, though I can only imagine that this number will skyrocket into the triple digits in due time, seeing as how there is literally tons that you can do during the short year that you'll spend in Inaba.
Buy this game, support more Persona ports, because dammit, this game will not be enough to satiate my desire for this SSS tier writing.

Doom Eternal is a phenomenal game.
I definitely did not enjoy every single aspect about it, as I'm still not too keen on the ultra-precise platforming sections or the purple goo, but I loved this game from start to finish otherwise. Primarily because of one thing: the combat.

Doom Eternal has perfected how combat was meant to be experienced in a game. They took the groundwork they laid in Doom 4 and injected it with 1,000,000g of steroids and adrenaline. The dash, monkey bars, and the meat hook work wonders for the speed and flow of each combat encounter. You have so many options when it comes to mobility, that you can approach just about any encounter any way you choose. The boss fights are impactful and challenging, the levels are well designed and paced, and the story is incredible. I cannot recommend this game enough, it's well worth your money.

Please make Doom 6, id.
