I LOVE LUNACID. If I could have sex with a video game, I would have sex with Lunacid. And that's saying something, because I HATE SEX. This game is a perfect example of Early Access done right - especially an Early Access survival game. Most Early Access survival games are terrible in really every way, but this is an amazing game so far. Currently, the only way I think they can screw the game up is to rush the end-game and release it on christmas, but they've pushed back the release date just for the fact that they can't do that many times (a good thing, honestly.)
From the start, they were already updating the game frequently. Sometimes it would take a bit long, maybe even a few months between updates, but for a good while until the end-game content began development it was an update every week or two.
But, be honest, you probably don't care about past update schedule, so instead we should talk about the actual game content - and I mean I'm making a list of things.

Pros:
- Sandbox elements are very fun and are not an irritating stain on the experience like it could be.
- The game has a story, and even though it's not the best story, it's interesting and adds lore to the planet which adds to the experience in general.
- You will be able to beat the game, which is a pro because I want something to work towards. I don't want to reach one point and then become bored. You can't beat the game yet, but that's because they're trying to polish up the game and make the ending actually exist (it's Early Access).
- The entire setting is a great idea, and it was pulled off fantastically. The atmosphere in some places is amazing. Some areas manage to be terrifying without any hostiles or hazards at all.
- The Void, an area in the game world, is also pulled off well. Even before they added an incentive to keep us away from the void, it sent chills down my spine. The void is how it sounds: it's an empty, dark zone where you shouldn't be. The void has to exist, or the world has to be randomly generated, or we can have invisible walls or barriers. The void is probably my favorite zone in the game because of how horrifying it is, not even being that deadly if you visit for 10 seconds, but if I enter for a single second I feel like I need to hightail it home.
When you enter, you get scan data about where you landed. It explains why the void exists and that's a good thing.
The void has a bottom, at least for a short ways away from the main land. I went into creative mode and at about 3000 meters there was a floor. It does permanently break off at some point, but it's a good thing to mention.
- The graphics of the game are really good. Reaally good.
- There are lots and lots of plants and fish in the game. There could be more, however, and the game's threat relies on just a small number of predators outside of the oxygen and food meters.
- It's not $60 like triple-A games are nowadays
- So far we don't have terrible BS like Ark's Early Access paid DLC
- We don't have microtransactions or lootboxes in a premium game - in 2017?
Cons:
- The game is missing little bits of polish here and there, like when the Ghost Leviathan swam into the sky . This is somewhat understandable though, because it's an Early Access game. Usually that's a terrible rebuttal, but this game and UWE have shown to be trustworthy.
- There's an entire mechanic for bases getting damaged but the only ways of that happening are if you accidentally damage it with something, the tiger plant thing shoots it because you put your base next to one and it missed when aiming at you, or if you place too many things and reach negative structural integrity. It could be much better utilized.
- Getting fragments for specific technologies can be a pain. It's not an experience ruiner for me because I actually found the things, but people like Markiplier had to search for days on end for something and it is very noticeable in some playthroughs.
- Materials like copper and gold are used a lot but have no reliable method of being obtained. The electronic recipes were switched to copper and gold from silver, but now silver is used in wiring kits and nothing else as far as I've seen, but gold and copper are used in computer chips and advanced wiring kits and more, and computer chips are used a lot - and for the construction of adv. wiring kits.
- Some updates take a while to come, even multiple months passing without updates at all. This doesn't matter that much because slow updates are a million times better than rushed updates, and you can just enter experimental mode and get an update every day (which aren't as big as a normal update).

Overall, I'd say that this game is really good. I think I give this game a 9/10. The game is almost perfect, it just needs a few more finishing touches and some more features which could be used much better.

If your computer is good, you can get a $20 game, and you like survival games or even exploration games, you will probably like this game, or you'll love it.

Also, I forgot to mention, this game is secretly a horror game sometimes.

This game is great. Seriously. I can't say much else.
Pros
-Tons of content to keep you playing for a while
-Lots of bosses to fight
-Hundreds of enemies if I'm not mistaken
-Literally AWESOME soundtrack, they even added in music boxes
-As of 1.3, simple and fun multiplayer
-Not much else to say, you will spend hours on end on this game
Cons
-Really small modding community
-You will probably ragequit a couple times, don't underestimate when it says "hard"
