A definite pickup for Harvest Moon / Rune Factory fans. The game itself is maybe slightly more simple than recent releases from either of those franchises, but there is enough content to keep the game interesting. Also, it was developed by only one person, and ConcernedApe (the dev) puts a lot of time and care into making sure everything is working perfectly. There is new content being added all the time.

Early Access Review
Ten different characters, dozens of weapons, fact-paced action, rad character abilities, procedurally-generated levels... basically everything I could ever want from a game.

Feels remarkably polished for a game still in Early Access. Very happy.

Like the original, but redesigned. Approximately twice the number of items and enemies (half of which are new), new sound, new graphics, not based on Java. Doesn't lag as much when there's stuff on screen. Overall, a great remake/reboot/rebirth.

An awesome game, especially for a beta. Procedurally generated planets, for theoretically infinite exploration. A platformer similar to Terrerria, with more things to craft and more of an emphasis on exploration. The only downside is that the planets, while completely randomized and stuff, feel same-ish. This is simply because they all have creatures, trees, the same materials (stone, dirt, ores, etc.) on them. The developers are promising more varied planets in the official release, so AWESOME.

Unbelievably good game. Way more fun than it may seem. Subtle moral choices, corrupt Soviet government, document inspection. So goo.
