Great for quick sessions (e.g. during a break at work) and parties (smoking magic herbs advised).

I'm forced to change my review to negative as Amazon/Smilegate is still unable to address the bot problem since the very launch of the game. It came to a point that the game is unplayable for legit users.

Currently, most of the playerbase are bots, so if you really wanna keep on playing this abomination, get a bot yourself - no point playing legitimately right now.

Amazingly addictive. I was surprised by how many 'one more rounds' trapped me into sitting by the computer until dawn.
Furthermore, it is one of these games where you want to collect all the possible achievements and you're still getting A LOT of fun out of it.
All it needs is more maps! :)

I hardly review any games other than my really favorite ones but I felt obligated to leave a positive review here. An overall "Mixed" score seems just too low for a game that really has a lot to offer to a rather casual strategist like me.

The most fun part of Realpolitiks seems to be the smoothness of how the story creates itself with every playthrough the player goes through. Because of that, the game doesn't really need any so-called story mode or campaign as any scripted events would simply feel fake and redundant.

Overall it's a 7+/10 for me.

CryoFall is a pretty casual (in terms of difficulty) mix of a base builder and survival with a little touch of RPG elements. First of all though, the game is a massive grinder, which can be both 'yay' and 'nay'. If you ever played Rust, you already know the drill.

What can certainly keep you grinding is the fact that all the character skills are increased when being repeatedly used, just like in e.g. Skyrim or Valheim. This leads to a couple of different playstyles - if you're not that into building, crafting, gathering materials, or exploring (there are also quests and world events in this game), you can always level up your fighting skills (by defeating hostile NPCs - the grind cannot be omitted) and proceed to do some PVP mayhem, steal supplies and crafting materials, or even claim someone's base.

Similar to Rust, which was already mentioned before, CryoFall should be played with at least one more person, just to make things happen more quickly. However, the title really shines when you're conquering the world with a strong group of friends. Of course, it's not a must - especially on PVE servers where there are quite a lot of solo players.

Let me correct some of the recent negative reviews - the game is NOT dead.
Yeah, there are no hundreds of servers populated with 3/4 players (there are 4 people max 'servers' in Vermintide) just waiting for you to join on your favorite map. The player base is indeed pretty small but very active, strong, and - what's I believe is the most important - super nice and helpful.

What's worth noting is that the new players are trying Vermintide nearly every day. Most players seem to be from Europe so you probably won't find many public games at 3:00 AM (though I see 25 people online at the very moment and it's 2:52 AM here). However, there's no problem in finding some company during the day - there are always at least a couple of active games, on different maps and difficulty levels. Hell, people are still playing the horde mode these days, so no, Vermintide is definitely not dead.

As for the game itself, let me tell you a story of a citghkj...
