Great mystery game

Pure joy just standing and watching while several maxed out weapons create havoc.

As someone who once played Commandos, Desperados and similar real-time tactics games, I was extremely happy when Mimimi developers revitalized the genre, modernized it, and yet with the feeling that nothing has changed. Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun was an instant classic, immediately becoming the best game of the genre, and yet, the devs somehow made their next game even better.

Story has never been the forte of RTT games, but Desperados III excels in that area as well. This especially applies to conversations between characters. The character you lead to a key moment also affects the conversation that follows. Voice acting is fantastic and that adds to chemistry between characters, primarily my favorites - Isabelle and Doc.

Desperados III requires patience and planning moves that is recognizable in its predecessors. Huge maps allow for solving problems in many different ways, which makes it easier to play and adds to replayability.

It is a great game, with a lot of content, and another success for Mimimi games.

It's not as groundbreaking as the original 2002 Mafia, but it's still a really nice remake.
