If you liked the Case of the Golden Idol, you'll probably like this sequel! The GUI has been slightly streamlined, and the era has changed, but otherwise these games are very similar, from the humor to the puzzle types, to the underlying mysteries.

That's not to say the stories are the same, though! This is a completely different cast with a completely different plot. It's a lot of fun.

Fun deck-building game that easily sucks away the hours. Unlocks feel challenging but reasonable, and there's so many different strategies that you can try all sorts of kooky stuff!

A surprisingly good monster-collection game. The mechanics are fresh and the move("sticker") replacement system is great. Having a companion along for the ride is a lot of fun. Worth noting: due to the world being a lot more open than average, the beginning of the game can seem a little slow due to not knowing exactly where to go. Just know that after you accomplish a few things, a lot more options will open up in terms of combos, capturing ability, and world movement. If a game feature seems missing, wait a bit and you may stumble onto it...

Cheesy at times, requiring location hunting at times, but all this doesn't matter because the acting is so fun that it make the entire experience a joy. Do yourself a favor and don't look any spoilers before you play. Asking everyone about everything is way more fun than that straight-path to the solution.

A compact game about hope. The game starts you in a pretty dire situation, and it's up to you to bail yourself out, with or without the help of the various people you can meet in your exploration. Actually a bit more forgiving than the initial presentation would lead you to believe. Straightforward dice-based gameplay. Cool storylines. Give it a try!

edit: Now even better with a free DLC that adds to the story and appears to be leading towards a definitive conclusion!

Hypnospace Outlaw is a glorious game for anyone who was on the internet in 1999. It perfectly captures that feeling of new, untamed, unpolished frontiers. It's an alternate reality, so nothing will be familiar, but everything will *feel* familiar. Just have fun, meet some quirky people, and maybe solve a mystery or two along the way!

A twisty puzzle game with a steadily expanding set of card game mechanics. Lots of fun, just don't get too attached to any one style...

Early Access Review
Satisfactory is a great building game. Every step you take requires a cumulative buildup of machinery, so you'll find yourself building in increasingly spagettified nest of conveyor belts, vehicles, and storage containers. In the best way.

It's still in early access, but the devs have been very responsive, updating with small patches regularly and big patches a couple times a year. The plot story of satisfactory is mostly still 'missing', but if you're looking for a relaxing way to just build complex, interdependent systems, this may be the game for you.

Cook, Serve, Delicious 1 and 2 were both great games, but also pretty different in their implementation. CSD3 is, in my opinion, a good fusion of the two. The customization of 1 with the themed food menus of 2 means that you're making what you want, but the game challenges you to switch things up regularly. The upgrade system is well-designed, and the UI feels a lot sharper now. Can't wait to see what this looks like by v1.0!

One of the best puzzle games I've ever played! Enjoyably brain-twisty, with lots of hidden fun to discover.
