GAME BRICKED!!!! DOES NOT LOAD PAST 3% AND IS STUCK ON THE LOADING SCREEN FOREVER

Good but frustrating

TLDR: I would enjoy this game 200% more if it was a mobile game.

This game is like a tamagotchi that can't leave your house, which for some people who (for instance) work from home don't need to worry about.

I don't work from home.

This game's main gimmick is that it only runs in the background for a certain amount of time, with the maximum limit being 8 hours, after which the game will stop in its tracks and does not progress.
You can reset this, but if it ever lapses you don't progress until you reset it.

Again, you ONLY have 8 hours maximum before the game freezes.

There is no worse feeling than coming home from work after a long shift to get on your computer for a couple hours only to find that absolutely nothing has progressed.

This game demands an amount of attention that I am not physically able to give it often enough for things to progress at a meaningful rate that engages me enough to care about it.

And that really sucks because otherwise this game is great, but the pacing has FULLY lost me because of the issues I've described.

I wish the game had a longer default timer, something like 12 hours would be far more reasonable.

I was really excited to see this game come out as a big fan of the poker night at the inventory series. Unfortunately I can't recommend this game if you're looking for a similar experience.

Within a little over an hour I won my first tournament, completed over half of the games achievements, and got a huge migraine from the voices and the music and never wanted to pick this game up again.

The story and dialog was also both intrusive to gameplay and incredibly slow even when I increased the text speed in the menu. Because the "banjo kazooie" style voices were so grating I genuinely couldn't focus on both the poker game and the dialog at all so I was barely following any part of the story whilst playing.

The fact it was also limited bets texas holdem instead of the standard no limits texas holdem really made the game drag on incredibly long unnecessarily and there really isn't any particular reason as to why it was limited bets.

I'm not refunding the game or anything because supporting indie devs is incredibly important, but I will say that I'm very disappointed with my experience and that I hope the developers can learn from their mistakes here for future projects.

A masterpiece of storytelling, this game is one of the best RPGs of all time and is a must play even if the fallout franchise isn't within your interest.

This game has its flaws but is without a doubt the best game in the modern fallout series; frankly the only thing that holds fallout new vegas back as a game is the engine its in. Bethesda can't code games worth a ♥♥♥♥ so bugs and glitches are more than inevitable and the game can run like garbage occasionally for no particular reason, even on higher powered modern computers such as mine (The Strip is a good example of this). Many mods alleviate these issues however, and I highly recommend you set them up before playing through the game.

The fact this game was made so quickly within 18 months and yet was made into one of the best RPGS of all time is a to how testament skilled the obsidian team is. Bethesda originally gave Obsidian 3 years to make this game, yet kept cutting down the time more and more.

Please consider picking this game up, even if its just on sale or something, pick it up along side its dlc, you will not regret it

overall thoughs, playing icons is like eating oatmeal without fruit or sugar, insanely bland, and lacks anything worth while.
These are cheap oats too, so uhh yeahhh...
Slap city is $7, Rivals is $15, don't blow your money on this game...

This new tony hawk pro skater game is pretty nice, but I keep getting shot while on my bmx around the burger joint, like come on man, is this detroit or something?




10/10 best collision of all time

When I first reviewed this game, I was way too critical about it. I think I need a better explaination for my feelings.
As a strictly Rivals of Aether fan, I feel brawlhalla is very watered down.
I feel like there is only 10 ish real characters in this game due to all weapons having the exact same moveset (like one sword character will have the same moves [aside from sigs]), and because of that I feel zero connection to any characters. I think the artstyle is lazy having all the characters have the same exact body template and its weird that everyone is as light as paper, even the rock character is light as a feather.
I also don't like how most of the cast is locked behind a paywall but I can forgive that due to the game being free.

I don't like competitive play for this game, its just a bunch of ledge camping and it feels really boring; however I could see why some brawlhalla fans would like it.
So now you might ask, why would I give brawlhalla a thumbs up if I have so many complaints?

A. Because its a partygame at heart and its great at being one
B. It's free
C. I respect the fact its simpler to bring in more players.

Its a fun game to play with friends on a friday night.
