I'm a little worried about how quickly players have dropped off from this game. Come December, I feel that folks will have left for Ultimate or gone back to Melee/PM. I think the majority of players will come during new character reveals, and when it goes worldwide, but right now things are not looking good for Icons. What are your thoughts? If the game were to come back, what do you think would save it? New characters? A story mode? Offline gameplay and input lag reduction? Modding? All characters and content free?

Or at least f2p in a way that relies on a server for the game to function like Icons originally did.
