Currently feels incomplete in many areas, mainly the game lacks clarity and coherence, but the game has potential.

There's a lot of information on the screen, but often missing the information I want to see.

Respect that Firaxis took bold risks and changed game design quite a bit. There's many new interesting mechanics, many of which I do like, but again lack of clarity is not helping me to crasp these new mechanics.

Game is not horrible, but for AAA price I'd just wish a more refined experience.

Usually after a few major updates civ games tend to improve a lot, so there is hope. I just wish they would stop publishing incomplete games in the first place!
