Game is very sus... not sure if I should recommend it or not...

Jokes aside, if you got a big group of friends. Unlike me... Then go for it! Highly recommended in that regard.

Unlike most people out there, I'm not going to completely bash the game for being different. But what I will say is... I like the idea behind the design decision, with the goal of the game being to find Relics to increase your stats and getting a small reset on every new area. But as it is right now... it doesn't systematically work.

I have often in games found myself often starting all over for the feeling of starting weak again and growing up to being strong in a more efficient method, which this game does. However, the issue is that the game wants you to 100% complete every area before moving on. Except your reward for 100% completion isn't work it. Most of the times, the Relics doesn't give a good enough reward for obtaining. Most of the time it's just a small increase to your swimming speed or something like that. Won't help with combat once you move into a new area at all.

I think the Relics should have a more powerful effect, like make the Relics basically your Level Up in the Alpha Version. Make them a small increase to your stats, so when you go to a new area for the next Relic, you won't be in a absolute reset. You at least stand a better chance at fighting the monsters in the area unlike what would happen if you made a brand new character. But also grant some new ability or new power with each Relic.

As for the Utility Items you can get in the game... like the Hang Glider and the Boat... again, I like the idea in concept... but it just doesn't systematically work. As in... once you go to a new area, you look all of them and have to start over again with none of them. Which makes going to any Ocean area a massive pain. Maybe make one of the Relics grant you a permanent version of one of the tools, so you won't lose that one item after leaving the idea. Like for example, "Permanently grants you the Boat for all Ocean worlds".

Like, the ideas of the Beta isn't bad... but they definitely doesn't feel developed fully yet. I really hope this game becomes better.... which might not even happen due to the disappearance of the creator after the backlash the game got after launch. Yeah, yelling at the creator over how bad the game is to a creator who really have self-confidence issues is a reaaaaaaaally good idea. I would honestly recommend the game, if there wasn't so low incentive to leave your starting area and starting at Level 1 again, constantly dying to everything around you so much... All the game needs is granting you more reason to explore more areas, and more growth in your power, but not too much growth and the game can be perfectly fine. But at the moment... I just cannot recommend it. Sorry mate.

So... Not gonna lie. I had high hopes for this game. Overall game is still fun, but mostly only with friends. However, the sheer lack of content and fixes for the flaws of the game can make it hard to recommend. The Pass doesn't seem worth it, at all. A complete waste of your money.

A shame too, since this game's whole shooting mechanics are the best part of the game. I can only really recommend this game, if you got friends who are hard invested in the game and who you can play with, regularily. But until they really fixes up all of the big issues, lack of new consistent content, fixing all of the bugs, better optimization... It's really hard to recommend this game to anyone.

This is the perfect game to simply, let loose and enjoy the moment. The Story Mode itself, is great. But Sandbox Mode with a friend of yours will be the perfect experience in this game. Kill thousands of zombies with over-the-top weaponry crafted by yourself, take a photo of the mayhem you just caused, crossdress to your heart's content, get slaughtered by some psychopath, slaughter that same psychopath after 15 retries and lastly, take a selfie with a zombie before selfies were a thing.

I cannot recommend this game enough, especially with a friend of yours. Get this game over the original Dead Rising 2, there's barely any point in getting that one.
