It's been a little while since I finished this, so I don't remember a lot of the details I might have written if I'd just finished, but I can say this: I loved this game. It's got a great use of logic, simple and attractive design, and takes a nice chunk of time to get through completely. If you like puzzle games that take some brain, this is a great choice, especially for the price, which is extremely fair for the amount of gameplay.

I tend to like games with creative thinking in them. This game was not fun to me.

The idea of the game is that it's a point and click adventure where you're meant to use your head and be logical and figure out how different parts work together to progress. The issue is that the balance is WAY off. Each part is either too easy to figure out or too difficult. And the really frustrating part is that the difficult parts aren't difficult because of logical merit; they're difficult because the creator went, "how can I make the player feel stupid for not figuring out this inane thing that isn't intuitive in the slightest?"

While I was able to figure out most parts of it easily, I also wanted to get it over with (because that's the kind of game this is - a 'when is this over' kind of game) and ended up looking up the solution to a few parts.

Overall, the logic element was either too easy or too obnoxious to find satisfaction in. The story was short, weak, and had no entertainment value, and I genuinely didn't realize I'd finished it in less than an hour and a half until I just saw my playtime right now and thought it had taken 3 or 4 hours because apparently time runs slower when engaged with this game lmao

I've really enjoyed this game! It's a classic, and done really well in this version. The interface is simple and attractive and the controls are straightforward. If you like puzzles/logic/strategy games, you'll probably enjoy this. Just keep in mind that it is repetitive, so if you aren't the kind of person who finds repetition relaxing, you might get bored with it.

Bad North is easily one of my favorite strategy games! It's simple to learn and takes time to master, which is a huge gold star from me. The graphics are simple and attractive, but there's a lot to be learned behind the low poly warriors you control. If you like strategy of any kind, this game will probably be a good pick for you.

It is close to rts in that you can't really pause and examine the 'board', only slow down time by selecting a commander to move. In that time, you'll have a bit of space to think while you decide the best move. This balance between real-time gameplay and having time to think is something I really enjoyed.

The achievements were challenging, but nowhere close to impossible, which is something a lot of other games could take notes on

Really not a fan of this puzzle game. Here's a quick list of the reasons why:

- Modes are called easy, medium, and hard, and don't list the piece count
- On hard mode (which is more what I would consider medium difficulty) the cut of the pieces looks really rough and janky. You can't really tell which pegs fit in which holes because they look like they were cut out by a three year old, but digital. There are stray pixels and whatnot, which makes them a useless indicator of where they fit
- The pieces snap to a grid regardless of if they belong in a place. This is extremely frustrating to me because it feels like I can't move them around as freely as I would expect. Instead of using snapping to grid to indicate solely that you've found a piece's place, it will, instead, snap to the grid and make a loud DING noise when you find the right place. Overall, the feel of the grid snapping is very unpleasant and unnatural to me.

I haven't played very long, but it didn't take long to get the vibe of the game and that's most of where my complaints lie. More power to you if you like the way it feels to play

This is a really nice puzzle game. I tend to expect puzzle games to be the kind of thing you can finish in around 5-20 hours and this one fell nicely at 14 for me.

The graphics are nice, low poly, and cute.

The game is easy to learn and hard to master - something I value highly in puzzle or logic games. It's the exact kind of game "merge" games SHOULD be. You combine flowers of the same growth stage to make bigger ones, or choose to use their seeds for that turn to grow more buds. Instead of merging things in a predestined way like cheap mobile merge games, this requires skill, logic, planning, and forethought to become truly good at. You're limited in board space and have to choose powerups, before starting a puzzle, which allow you to fight back against crowding, hungry rabbits, and space-wasting armadillos while you try to match requested patterns and unlock keys, which progresses the overall game.

There's a vague story in the background while playing, which you uncover by finding notes and such. The story isn't super strong and is more there for flavor than substance.

The only thing I could complain about is that moving between areas and using powerups forces you to endure a few seconds of animation, which I found unnecessary and repetitive. I think it would make more sense for the animation to only happen, in full, the first time you use a powerup or discover an area. Then, after that, it should happen in the background or at a higher speed to keep from interrupting your gameplay.

I found the game, overall, very enjoyable, even with the minor animation annoyance, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys merging or matching games, similar in style to Triple Town and games like it.

This game is really good if you like complex puzzles that make you use every inch of your brain. One of its faults (or perhaps benefits, depending on who you are) is that it doesn't really explain anything. You have very little instruction and have to figure it out by yourself. This can be really obnoxious.

This game is a pain in the ass for completionism, but the right kind of pain in the ass. The last ten of the bonus puzzles made me want to scream, but it was so so satisfying to get the final achievement.

The story is fairly weak. There are vague snippets of internal monologue from the scientist you're "playing as" after each puzzle/compound is complete. You get a vague idea that something bad has happened to the world and that he wants to fix it, or maybe make it worse, by bringing back drugs and medication. Otherwise, there's not much story to follow. I definitely wouldn't recommend this for anything outside the puzzle element.

There is a fun side game I like to call cursed solitaire. You have to beat it 100 times to get one of the achievements. I was fine with this, since I like solitaire a lot, but for anyone who doesn't like solitaire, and wants to get all the achievements, this is going to piss you off. There is no undo in the game, no hints, and it's very easy to dead end and have to restart. That being said, the games are generally shorter than other types of solitaire and there IS a method to it that makes you less likely to dead end and more likely to win.

All in all, I would recommend this game with some hesitation based on who I'm recommending it to. As I said, if you want to complete it and don't like solitaire, if you like having a solid story, it might not be for you. Otherwise, give it a go!

This game is so fun and well made. If you've ever been convinced to play one of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Facebook shop games but hated every minutes of it because you were forced to invite people or pay to get access to features, this is the salve to heal your soul that you've been looking for. It's a wonderful shop simulator with a lot of room for growth and expansion.

It can be a bit grindy if you want to max out all of your levels, but that's completely unnecessary (I'm just like that). The devs for this game are super active and super kind. They have a discord server where you can post bug reports, suggestions, screenshots, and more. They respond super fast and, frankly, are a huge reason I want to leave this game a glowing review. The fact that I can expect continual progress from them and a willingness to work with their players is so heartening. The game is continuing to be added to and updated regularly with new features and bug fixes.

If you're design oriented, you'll also appreciate that all of the decorations, props, functional items - anything you buy in this game - you can sell back for the exact same price. This includes any money put into upgrades and so on. It makes it really easy to design your shop without wasting money on sellbacks (which can be heartbreaking if you decide you really don't like what you did with it).

I immediately started out playing Very Hard, since I have experience with this kind of game. It was tricky near the end of the the gamemode, before it turns into sandbox, but I managed to complete it on the first try, with some difficulty. It's very well balanced in terms of difficulty, and only becomes moreso as you learn the ins and outs of the game and improve at planning ahead and so on.

I look forward to where this game goes! It's already wonderful and will certainly only get better.

This game is really great. It has a really compelling focus on story and interpersonal relationships. Whether you want to romance someone or just be friends, there's a lot to learn about each companion while you're questing and progressing the main storyline. The companions even have short conversations which each other while you're all running around, which I find really endearing and immersive.

Another thing I really love about this game is the cultural depth. No matter where you go, you can really get a sense for the difference in culture between one people and another.

The graphics are surprisingly alright for being 14 years old. A lot has happened since 2009, but this game still holds up, visually. It has its quirks, yes, but overall, it's not distracting. Frankly, the cutscenes in this game are some of the best I've ever seen in any game, regardless of release year. The cutscenes are emotionally driven and as compelling as if I were watching and participating in a movie. They actually have a sense of tension and urgency to them.

If you like RPGs with a focus on story and relationships, this is genuinely a fantastic choice all around. This, coming from someone who is pretty picky about what RPGs I find entertaining.

Membership is about 3 bucks more expensive per month if bought as Steam DLC (This 3 month pack is only 30 when bought through the client or RS website) but you DO get steam points out of it, which is why I bought it. Weigh the options and what's right for you, but the website is probably better for most people. Plus, you can set it to auto-renew
