Beautiful game, great progression that ramps up naturally without ever being too overly complicated or tedious, and very approachable. 10/10 would terraform Mars again.

Incredibly addicting, infinitely moddable, and tightly designed power trip simulator with so much room for advanced techniques and interactions. Great visuals and music, too. Buy this game for you and your friends and share in the thrill of dying to a random mushroom fire circle or lemurian.

I came into the game expecting Phoenix Wright, something along the lines of a visual-novel esque game lighter on the heavy stuff and perhaps more focused on the deducing. What I got instead was a DDLC-esque story experience that managed to quicken the pace of mystery games in a unique way. The story is absolutely amazing, and its twists and turns are mostly unexpected, and definitely leave a lasting impression. The music is killer (figuratively, I promise) as well! The gameplay borders right on the edge of overwhelmingly fast, with its time limits and quick thinking, and draggingly slow, with some games leaving you square in the dark (looking at you, Hangman) and some obvious points taking forever to prove to some of these characters. While the ending gets a bit preachy, it's definitely an experience I recommend, and I hope to be playing the second game soon, after I emotionally recover from this one.

Wickedly fast-paced, high-flying, incredibly entertaining fun for everyone! Easy to learn and pick up, hard to master. It's definitely a party game, as the single-player content is lacking, but grab three additional copies for some friends, or plug some controllers in, and you're bound to get your money's worth and more! It's a blast!

PROS:
Lots of fun
Addicting Gameplay
High Skill Ceiling
Great with friends

CONS:
Not-so-great alone.
Laggy + Buggy at times.

A charming 3D platformer with lovely design and graphics, amazing soundtrack, and extremely interesting characters (take a guess as to which is my favorite)! I definitely recommend this to anyone who's really been in a mood for something akin to Super Mario Sunshine or other older 3D platformers. And if you can get the DLC, then be prepared for a true challenge.

Cuphead's soundtrack is amazing, its gameplay is fluid and responsive, and it's easily one of the best games that's come out for PC this year. Honestly, everyone should give this game a try at least. It's difficult, but don't let that turn you off from buying it! This studio is actually incredible, and everyone should allow this studio to continue to operate with the high-quality games they're producing.

Over the span of two summer months, I somehow went from under 20 hours in this game to a little over 200. Well played, Re-Logic... Well played.

Pros
  • Great music
  • Very pretty pixel art
  • Memorable characters
  • Awesome voice acting
  • Compelling story

Cons
  • The puzzles either are very straightforward or have really strange, obscure and borderline ridiculous solutions. ((Spoiler example: One of the puzzles asks you to find an item that represents a rhyme for "tones", and you have a pair of headphones in your inventory. While the game gives you an achievement for inputting the headphones, they're not the solution. Instead, you're supposed to pick up a box of moldy donuts from the street and give it to the guy, who calls it a box of "christmas scones." I'm not kidding.))
  • The game can sometimes feel long, because there's no real way to pass over text, so if you were to play through this game a second time, and had to listen to a lot of the same text again, is would be a tad irksome.

I have played through this entire game and have been listening to the soundtrack for weeks. This is an amazing experience, almost more of a visual novel than a game, with interactive puzzle segments. However, if you're buying this game for the puzzles, look elsewhere. Buy this game for the story, the gameplay, and the experience. I really love this game for the story, the characters, the music, the art, and what it can represent for the future of society. Congrats, Midboss. This is a great game, and worth buying.

Dishonored was one of the first stealth games I've personally ever played. It easily tops my list of most impactful games I've ever touched. The story is well-constructed, the action has an appropriate balance of spectacle and feels-good. The stealth has a very balanced mix of timing and using the powers. The game is challenging, but very rewarding for completing said challenges. Its setting is wonderful, but I feel that most of the characters are easily forgettable.

Pros:
Excellent gameplay, stunning setting, well-implemented stealth, love the music, the powers and weapons you use for combat are great.

Cons:
Characters are forgettable, AI sometimes glitches out.

If you're a fan of stealth games, get this game. If you're not a fan of stealth games, try this out; it might change your mind.
