I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Steam Deck, is in fact, Steam Deck/Proton, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, Steam Deck plus Proton. Steam Deck is not a handheld gaming device unto itself, but rather a portable, powerful machine with a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components, such as proton, comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX.
