"First I butter 'em up, then I bean 'em down." GySgt ButterBean

GySgt ButterBean is an All American Navy Seal Marine Corps veteran. After receiving 2 Medal's of Honor and 7 Purple Hearts with Meal Team 6, he decided the rigors of being a Navy Seal were behind him. He became the Marine Corps' first non-officer officer, with the MOS of GySgt of the Marines. Throughout his un-documented service, he made great use of questionable DD-214 to get military discounts on multiple items, from new cars to airport Tic-Tacs. Please give thanks to this war hero!

Anthony "Fat Tony" Salerno was an American mobster who served as underboss and front boss of the Genovese crime family in New York City from 1981 until his conviction in 1986.

Out of the night that covers me
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.

In the fell clutch of circumstance,
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.

Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds, and shall find, me unafraid.

It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.

Invictus By William Ernest Henley

The F-14 Tomcat is an air superiority/interceptor that was designed for use by the United States Navy. Development began in the 1960s, and progressed into the 1970s. It was meant to combat the Soviet Bear and Blackjack bombers, as well as certain cruise missiles that could destroy a nuclear carrier. The F-14 introduced the revolutionary AWG-9 Radar that utilized the infamous AIM-54A & C Phoenix missiles, as well as the AIM-7 Sparrow. Many Naval Aviators enjoyed flying Grumman aircraft, as Grumman was known for making aircraft that could get you home, even with severe battle damage. Beginning in the mid 1990s, the Tomcat changed roles from interceptor, to precision strike platform, known as Fighter Attack. Eventually, tomcat squadrons were decommissioned one by one, with the very last two being VF-213 Black Lions and the VF-31 Bombcatters. The Tomcat was retired in 2006 after being in service from the mid 1970s. Naval Aviation was forever changed due to the Tomcat and many believe that it was the last of the purpose built aircraft that the Navy ever acquired.

Wojtek was a Syrian brown bear purchased, as a young cub, at a railroad station in Hamadan, Iran, by Polish II Corps soldiers who had been evacuated from the Soviet Union. In order to provide for his rations and transportation, he was eventually enlisted officially as a soldier with the rank of private, and was subsequently promoted to corporal.

He accompanied the bulk of the Polish Second Corps to Italy, serving with the 22nd Artillery Supply Company. During the Battle of Monte Cassino, in Italy in 1944, Wojtek helped move crates of ammunition and became a celebrity with visiting Allied generals and statesmen.

After the war, mustered out of the Polish Army, he was billeted, and lived out the rest of his life, at the Edinburgh Zoo.

The name "Wojtek" is a hypocorism (diminutive form) of "Wojciech", an old Slavic name that is still common in Poland today and means "he who enjoys war" or "joyful warrior".
