A little detailed revision of my Darktide Review after numerous updates, polishes and events.

I went back to the game multiple times: 1. Itemization overhaul and 2. Ogryn buff/overhaul and Skulls Event.

To see the game evolve and become such a smooth experience since launch is refreshing. Heck, even the story bits within the Mortis Trials and in newer sections was fun!

The melee and ranged combat are both equally solid, and sell the class fantasies quite nicely while providing a variety of playstyles (though higher difficulties do require some specific adjustments). As a non-hardcore player, the gameplay loop is rather rewarding and the masteries section feels pretty rewarding.

The penance system is also a nice addition with a permanent battlepass added to it (would love to see new ones in addition to this) with a variety of cosmetics and cool activities.
