Wasn't sure about it coming from AOE2, but after I got used to the new mechanics it's actually a solid game. Ranked is cool because all the civs are so different from each other, and they're all viable. Worth it at full price if you like AOE already, otherwise I'd get it on sale to make sure it's the kind of game you like.
