It seems like the poor performance is due to messed up nvidia drivers and not the port itself (mostly). Downgraded to 566.36 and started getting much better framerates.

Also delete direct storage files to significantly reduce stuttering in gameplay. However heavy performance loss and stuttering during cutscene transitions isnt really affected by anything and is basically on nixxes to fix

Still some stuttering and drops during cutscenes but i went from like the 50-70 range at high with no raytracing dlss performance and frame gen, to 80-120 with raytraced reflections and interiors on very high with dlss on performance and fsr frame gen still on.

A patch is still necessary for the smaller issues but for me the game is now playable on my 3070.

Cannot recommend in it's current state. Horrible performance on a card that can run much more demanding games 10 times better.

How is it that my 3070 does better in Cyberpunk with path tracing on in performance dlss mode than in this game with raytracing completely off? Why can this game barely hit 30 with no upscaling even when my settings are lower and with raytracing still off?? Extremely strange since Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, a game with similar fidelity if not better, runs way better.

Wait for patches or performance optimization mods.

Legitimately one of the most well written and fun RPGs ever made. Stop readin' the reviews and go play it you gonk. The game is fixed.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥???? This is infinitely more fun than payday 3, heists are actually challenging and overkill isnt a complete joke that you can breeze through even if you go down like 50 times in a row.

Latest update is absolutely horrible. Almost everything changed to copy "trendier" games to chase their success. Did not work at all.

New horrible seasonal modifier system that makes the standard gameplay frustrating and unbearable. A bunch of new overpriced microtransactions. Nerfs everywhere. Seasonal Progression heavily nerfed and can no longer be progressed with your standard xp like before.

Like 2 or 3 premium season passes instead of 1 like before for some reason?? Its a very confusing system i assume made like that to get you to accidentally spend more than you intend to. Steer very clear of this game, latest update ♥♥♥♥♥♥ it all to hell.

Go play literally any other looter shooter. This one is garbage now.

Extremely generic gooner-bait that solely exists to drain your wallet for skimpy outfit skins, skip and play a real looter-shooter that actually respects your time and wallet.

100$ anywhere else gets you: every borderlands game and dlc ever made, all destiny 2 content for a whole year, payday 2 and all of its dlc ever produced, or a fraction of that for the division 2 and its dlc, and warframe is free with a good amount of endgame viable builds that you can farm without needing to spend any premium currency. but if you do want to spend money 100 dollars worth of plat easily gets you a full build + a ton extra to spend on whatever else you want.

100$ here gets you 1 character lmao. the predatory pricing also gives you uneven amounts of currency that cant get you anything by itself to get you to spend more to remove the excess so that you think its not wasted.

A lot of people are saying this is better than Payday 3 just to fuel the discourse but honestly if you prefer fast and fluid movement, gunplay, actually challenging stealth (or gameplay in general), weapon and build depth, i would just play payday 2. A lot of stuff in this game feels dumbed downed and automated for the kind of payday players who couldn't complete anything above very hard in Payday 2.

The perks are literally just basic insignificant stat increases, stealth is just silent assassin for people who cant get around undetected, gun mods are completely random when a gun is made available for purchase, and assault waves just feel incredibly boring and underwhelming with almost no cop density and how the ai will never really try to push you.

Unironically the best expansion in this franchises' history and its not even close. Ending literally had me tearing up. Thanks for 10 years bungie.
