Pacing is too slow for me. Setting and story are not interesting enough for how much it belabors dialogue and investigation segments.

Not nearly enough polish. Combat, movement, animations, and lots just need more time in the oven. Some good ideas and fun concepts, but it tries to be a dating sim and a metroidvania, but does neither of those things very well.

Even if controller support wasn't as terrible as it is, it wouldn't matter because it's just boring.

This game feels like it was written by fans who loved the first game, but don't possess the secret sauce that made up the first one. This is a bad game. I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Everything about this feels unfinished. Poor animations, floaty character movement, no weight to attacks, terrible optimation...just janky in general. This is a bad game.

Overall, for me, it's a beautiful but badly designed game. It's just not fun, but I had such high hopes and it looks so nice that I've been forcing myself to try and enjoy it. What a shame, and I hope the devs learn from this and spend more time playtesting and refining their game design process.
