I like the concept of applying XCOM style gameplay to the Marvel universe, and Midnight Suns is a cool concept.

Great story and sci-fi atmosphere. The puzzles were interesting. Some janky bugs caused characters to clip through walls and objects, and I had to reset 'Regain Control' because of bugs as well. Overall, highly recommend if you're into sci-fi.

Amazingly deep RPG. Characters are all interesting (recommend sticking with origin characters). Deep combat that rewards imaginative/creative thinking. Great dialogue and voice-acting. Interesting quests. Even after 100 hours, I'm still learning new things. Highly recommend.

Really fun game - if you've enjoyed other Arkham games, then you'll enjoy this one. Had no trouble running it on my mid-range PC (there were a lot of bugs early on). DLC is short but lots of fun.

Pros:
-Great gunplay
-Lots of crafting options for armor, weapons, consummables
-Settlement base-building is a neat idea
-Interesting factions
-Enjoyable story

Cons:
-Quests are pretty dull and repetitive
-Roleplaying is limited
-DLC are mainly related to crafting - if you aren't into crafting and base-building, there isn't much here for you

Pros:
Great open-world FPS. Lots to do aside from the main storyline - guns to collect and modify, upgrades to craft, sidemissions, etc. Most missions offer a nice balance between stealth or going in guns-blazing, based on what the player wants to do. Overall, I recommend it, unless you played Far Cry 3 and didn't care for it.

Cons:
Somewhat boring story, and VERY similar to Far Cry 3 when it comes to gameplay.

FTL is one of those games you either love or hate. Or sometimes you love to hate it. Or hate to love it.
Overall, a really fun, difficult, cheap game with an awesome soundtrack and tons of replayability.

In FTL, your mission is simple: take your crew and spaceship through a series of hostile space sectors and defeat a Rebel Flagship to beat the game. However, surviving the trip to the final sector and destroying the Flagship is painstakingly difficult. The game has an insanely steep learning curve, and you will spend hours and hours just trying to survive.

There is a lot of info to process: various weapon systems, each with their own pros and cons, oxygen management, enemy boarding crews, shields, balancing power usage, making smart upgrades, which systems you choose to man with crewmembers, different crewmember races, and much more.

Despite the initial difficulty, you will quickly find yourself learning the ins and outs of the game. Progress is earned, not given, and nothing feels better than finishing the game for the first time. There is always something new to learn and to improve upon, and new ships and ship layouts are unlocked via unique quests and objectives - the game has tons of replaybilty.

Highly recommend.

Unique, well-realized world, solid action/stealth with light RPG elements and an intriguing story. Solid purchase.

Dishonored is a first-person action/stealth RPG created by Bethesda Softworks. The player assumes the role of Corvo, personal bodyguard to the Empress of the Isles. Corvo embarks on a long quest for revenge that takes the form of missions that revolve around assassinating various targets and gathering intel to help Corvo in his quest.

The atmosphere is awesome - the setting is pretty distinctly 18th century, but with some neat futuristic technology and magic sprinkled in. It's tough to talk about the story without giving anything away, but I was immediately sucked in to it, and I had a difficult time putting it down.

There is a nice variety to the missions, and they never felt boring or repetitive. The quests offer multiple means of achieving objectives that merit several replays (there is an option to replay individual missions). In addition to main quest objectives, there are always interesting sidequests and jobs to pursue.

Corvo has a variety of gadgets to aid him in his quest. Grenades, traps, a pistol, a small sword/dagger, and a crossbow with incendiary and sleep-inducing darts. Corvo also has powers that allow him to see through walls, teleport, slow time, and more. Corvo's gear and powers can be upgraded through in-game currency and through runes and bonecharms that you gather in each mission.

Generally, the player is offered lethal and non-lethal options while playing through missions. A lethal playstyle will lead to increased enemy presence and the addition of other obstacles to future missions; to be honest, it feels as if the player is penalized for a bloody playthrough, and stealth is flat out more entertaining and challenging.

Overall, I highly recommend Dishonored, and I rate it a must-play. The world is interesting, and the story engaging. The gameplay feels tight, and the content of the missions is wonderful.
