Beyond EAC, the game has been very slowly getting better.

What is there to say about this game? It has been amazing from the very start. The changes made from the original Monster Hunter games (posing after drinking a potion... ugh) are a huge welcome.

Pros:
Dogs. I lost track of how many there are.

Cons:
Fanbase.

It's hard to describe how good this game is. I love the combination of Rogue-Like and Bullet Hell, and this game does both so well.

As of the time I am writing this review, I have yet to get past the second floor.

I've only played this game for a little over an hour, but it has taken me by surprise. At first glance, I had presumed that this was going to be another Sonic-esque style game and in a few ways, it is. The little things that make this game different from the typical Speedrunner Sonic games is what makes it great.

The voice acting is a little cheesy, but it plays very well with every character I've encountered so far. The controls have been very responsive with my controller (XBOne Controller) and easy to get used to, no glitches or game breaking bugs encountered, the levels are vibrant, and the characters are lovable. For a Kickstarter game, they succeeded and delivered something very worthwhile.

It's really hard for me to say whether or not I'd recommend this game. In terms of being a puzzle type game, it's great. When they said that the biggest obstacle in the game is yourself, they were right. It really makes you think outside of the box, and even further with the complexity of some of the puzzles.

The main reason I won't recommend this game is that it will give you a headache. While playing this game, I did experience a bit of motion sickness with it. The ultra bright visuals kept making my head hurt.

Beyond that one problem, this game is best bought while on sale. I'm not quite sure if I can justify spending $20 on it.

Quite an interesting game for a JRPG. It has an interesting point of view from the typical Dungeon exploring game as a merchant.
