Vampire Survivors is a masterclass in delivering addictive gameplay through simplicity. With 89.6 hours sunk into its world, I can confidently say this indie gem packs far more value than its modest price tag suggests.

The game combines the accessibility of one-stick movement with the complexity of a roguelike progression system. The goal is straightforward: survive increasingly overwhelming waves of enemies for 30 minutes. But Vampire Survivors is far from simple button-mashing—it's a satisfying blend of strategy, reflexes, and experimentation.
The visuals are retro and minimalist, which works to the game's advantage, letting the chaotic beauty of hundreds of enemies on screen shine through. The soundtrack is catchy and contributes to the adrenaline-fueled tension of longer runs.

If there’s one critique, it’s that the RNG can sometimes feel punishing when chasing specific builds or unlocks. Still, the overall experience keeps you coming back for "just one more run."

Vampire Survivors is the epitome of "easy to learn, hard to master," it continues to be one of the most rewarding games I’ve played in recent years. If you're a fan of roguelikes or even just looking for a game that respects your time while delivering heaps of fun, this is an absolute must-play.
