This game has surpassed the best expectations that I had when I first saw the reveal trailer. It is the best VR experience that I ever had. It has amazing graphics (even in the lowest settings) and I never experienced motion sickness or frame drops, unlike in other recent games with worse graphics. It is truly immersive, with the environment reacting to your actions in realistic ways. There is a nice contrast between scary environments and the dynamic between Alyx and Russel, which provides some funny moments and lightens the mood. I was also pretty satisfied with the duration of the story mode and the workshop adds some replayability. If you are a half-life fan, this game is an absolute must and it will surely blow your socks off. If you have never played the half-life series you will still have a great experience, but I recommend that you, at least, look up the story of the previous games in order to enjoy it to its fullest potential.
