This game has a lot of potential given that it's Early Access. It's not Total War, Crusader Kings or Anno. It's a village builder with some warfare aspects as it was always described as.
Building and managing your village is quite good but it can be discouraging for first few time without proper helpbook, which is lacking in many aspects. A proper tutorial or helpbook that would somehow explain you game mechanics would help a lot. When my village population grew over 150 I wasn't able to make sufficient amount of any other food type than bread so some other food types than can be farmed or raised would be great. Given it's an early access these shortcomings can be resolved before full release. What is a big unknown is when will this full release happen as this is solo dev project but I hope hope the money influx from early access release will speed this process.
