OVR is a must have for VR. I wish it didnt have to cost anything for new users however they have been struggling to make money in order to keep this existent so it makes sense to charge a bit for it. Not sure if prices are localized though.

Can't wait for the Maine dlc in 20 years.

Its fun to meet with friends, but the dev's don't understand how to fix their game. Bugs that have been going on for months/years have gone un-patched (infinite loading, unknown error while joining) and avatar theft is still an issue that goes on and hasn't been address. My only reccomendation is to not go into public world unless you want your avatar stolen and don't pay for vrchat+, because the dev's clearly don't know how to handle money.

Edit: Now with EAC and how the dev team is treating the modding and the community in general I don't recommend the game at all for lower end vr users or vr users in general. as its make the frame rate too unstable to play and is a severe gap in our privacy. Once again proving the devs not only now dont know how to handle money, but also don't know how to foster a fan-base as many mods that improved the quality of life now longer work or they were stolen without credit.I reccomend anyone seeking out a good vr social experience check out Neos or ChilloutVR as it seems like they care more about both the modding community and the community in general thatn VRC ever will.

Edit 2: now vrchat is going fully against modders and is filing a cease and desist against emm. If that doesnt make it clear how corporate vrc is becoming and hostile they are to the community i dont know what will.

Edit: Casual has become unplayable because of bots, and parts of mvm are like this as well at times. Valve needs some sort of anti-cheat before i can recommend people to get into it.
