Early Access Review
This is a fantastic example of a perfectly thought out rogue-lite replay value, or addiction value as I call it. The movement and graphical interactions with the environment is a kiss to Symphony of the Night, but the random generation of map layouts provides that extra kick to make you play again and again. There are various trajectories towards progressing through the game, whether you speed run or examine every nook and cranny.

Recently, this week to be specific, either the difficulty increased on its own, or certain mechanics lost their value. Freezing certain enemies (primarily the incomplete one) has consistently bounced off him like the effect had some sort of dimishing returns. I'm not sure if this was an isolated incident, and I don't often read patch notes. For better or for worse, freeze is a almost necessary staple for standard progression in this game, and it was a little daunting to see it not work on bosses. The hand of the king it would freeze for a second at best, so any "175% damage on frozen enemies" will only be beneficial if it's not something like the Assassin's daggers, as you'll never be able to rely on that third hit, plus he's unfrozen at that point.

Anyway, this is more of a pseudo might-be-bug report with a side of appreciation and a dash of confusion. I've gifted this game to two friends and don't regret it. This is a rare treat, as the movement is so fluid and responsive.

It would be awesome if they had a discord channel for this, as forums are a little clunky. Plus it will be a more accurate source of feedback and popularity.
