I wish I wasn't disappointed with this chapter. The story, lore, and voice acting are all still incredible. However, the performance issues and the bugs that affect the gameplay and immersion were extremely unfortunate. Returning to this game after Chapter 3, which was super polished and could be terrifying at times, felt jarring to me. I felt this chapter needed to be put in the oven a little longer to prevent these hindrances. A bug where one of the monsters was completely absent in an entire section for me was baffling. I do not recommend playing it in its current state, unless you want to gamble with a less than ideal experience.

"The world hasn't ended yet."

I cannot recall playing a video game like this where I was so emotionally invested in the characters, story, and relationships. I resonated with an immense amount in this game that I had to take breaks and return to it later, even if it was just for a few moments or days at a time. It was absolutely gut-wrenching, and it reminded me of certain parts of my life that I relive in my head over and over and over again. It's scary at times how much I use video games to escape the worst parts of myself, or for motivation in finding the best parts of myself. This game changed me, hopefully for the better. Hopefully for whatever tragedies, laughs, heartbreaks, and triumphs the rest of my life brings. That's how much this game made me think about life: past, present, and future. I don't know if another video game has accomplished that for me. But whenever I look back about this moment in time, I hope I'm smiling. This game made me cry more times than I expected it to. I think I needed that the most.

1000xRESIST will transcend decades of space and time, and it will still be studied and theorized. It is truly a once in a lifetime video game.

One of the best survival horror games I've ever played. It has its own identity, an impeccable aesthetic/style throughout, meaningful storytelling and themes, and impactful, strongly written characters. THE MUSIC AND SOUND DESIGN IS AMAZING, TOO! I cannot compliment this game enough. Go play it!

One of the best feeling FPS games I've played in years. If you loved Severed Steel, or if you enjoy any FPS games that mixes incredibly fast-paced movement, addictive and smooth gunplay, and rewards exploration, Echo Point Nova is calling for you.

Early Access Review
I had no expectations and still felt disappointed with everything the game has to offer. Putting aside server and capacity issues: the gunplay felt awful, with the laughable impact of firing bullets that I witnessed when shooting enemies and how staggering enemies took a couple seconds to trigger. The gunplay just felt so jarring and clunky. There's no mantling, no maneuverability, no melee options, making the survivability extremely barebones against other players and zombies. The gameplay loop seems undercooked, even if we can generously call this "early access". The world felt abhorrently lifeless for something advertised as a "uniquely reimagined journey" within a "post-apocalyptic open-world MMO". Falsely advertising a game, that in reality is an extraction shooter with some survival elements and not an open-world MMO, is just blatantly rude of them to do and still advertise as at the time of this review.

Overall, I do not recommend this game to anyone in its current state. It's baffling they are selling this for the price it is.

One of the best puzzle games I've ever played. Its concept is simple yet unique, layering its mechanics on top of each other like different, flavorful stacks of cake. The soundtrack and sound design is incredible from start to finish. Although the puzzles aren't too perplexing, it strikes a great balance of simplistic and challenging gameplay. The team has created an immensely satisfying experience and enough to provide drops of dopamine as you explore COCOON's colorful and immersive worlds.

Where do I even start?! This game is so amazing and the dev team is incredible! The time and effort spent into making Dirge is noticed! I love that you can play as an investigator or monster. I also love that you can play solo if you choose and work on objectives. Its a fantastic game and I can't wait to 'hug' my friends at least once each time we play <3

It feels good to finally have the chance to say, "I'm in" when you're hacking into a network. How many times in your life can you do that properly?
